I won't regret this Purchase!
I purchased these marker holders because the markers I bought last year fell over during the last blizzard, and while I tried to push them back in the ground, my hands were full of flaking fiberglass shards. These marker spikes went in easily and had one main hole and several holes around the sides. I have two markers in each spike. Great product, just pound in with a hammer or your foot, like I did. Highly recommend, and this comes with new markers too!

Easy to install
This product is very good. Now just need to teach people to stop trying to run over them and in my grass.

Marker Mounts Could Be Longer
About what I expected them to be, however, the Marker Mounts are shorter than I thought they would be. Set them up before the ground froze, so we’ll see how they hold up to frost heave.

Would not recommend this product
The plastic stake holder is too short so the stake is not driven in deep enough. Would not recommend this product.

used in SNO-PARK
i needed snow poles for my sno-park parking in the Sierra's and thier requirement is 8' so i have to join two together with a 1/4" plastic tube and duck tape a stiffener. Overall i am satisfied with it and it comes with a spike that holds it - unfortunately, i know im parking where it might be on a pavement so instead I got some 4x4 wooden blocks drilled with 1/4" holes for the poles to rest then duck tape to the side of my car for stability.

fine product; good value
A good value and less expensive than competitors offerings. I was concerned that the marker and stake combo would be of lower quality than purchasing such items separately. No worries! Quality is same... bought it again for my neighbor. Helpful for snowstorms to guide snowblower and stay off your lawn.

Just Okay, but maybe that's Okay.
I've tried a few of these now. They all result in the same thing: I have to continuously mess with them throughout the season. The ground thaws, and they don't stand up anymore. The ground freezes, and I can't drive them in (the plastic bases included here do not drive into frozen ground well in temps between 20-30F). I looked at the style with the spring base that connects to a steel spike driven into the ground, and read those reviews, which sounded like similar mixed results. Here's what ended up working best for me: I took an old spade drill bit just slightly bigger than the diameter of the marker. Using a cordless drill, I drill a ~6" hole into frozen ground, and slide the stake in. Rocks can interfere, but if your soil isn't rocky it may work.If all that sounds too complicated, it may be helpful to meditate on wu wei, and allow a kind of cosmic peace to settle over you as the snowplow or other vehicles merrily violate the various boundaries you've created in an effort to shape the world around you to your liking.
