Night shift nurse must have!!
LOVE this product!! I haven’t had to recharge mine yet but it’s super small and easy to clip on a badge reel or scrub top! As a night shift practicum student this was perfect for doing whatever we needed in the pediatric room and still being able to see without waking up the kiddos! It’s lightweight which is amazing and it’s bright enough to see what you’re doing but not wake anyone up!

Love it!!!
I love this. I’ve been wanting one of these for a while now finally ordered and it’s super helpful. I work a lot of night shifts and this was so helpful to me so that I could see what I was doing. It’s great quality material and works very well. I highly recommend!

I lost mine...
I had a similar clip-light for several years I liked (it was an Eddie Bauer). The magnetic latch is not particularly strong and does not work well with thick clothing. I lost it somewhere... This version is about the same, but includes a RED light option which is nice for night use. Brightness is good in most applications and I like the convenience of the magnetic clip. Just take care of how & where it is attached and take it of when you do not need it to avoid lose.

The BEST Product Ever
I accidentally dropped this lamp in the snow near my parking space and it was buried for a week. I found it and took this picture after. The light was still bright as when I bought it. I’d given up hope of finding it. I love this light.

Very Useful
It is actually very large. I use it to light the inside of my purse so I can find things. Love It. Well made and worth the money.

ENOUGH SOURCE OF LIGHT FOR A SMALL AREA
UPDATE: 3 December, 2017I put this light on my dog when I took her out last night, as I forgot to buy new batteries for the microlights that I normally use. It was raining then. Please do not — I repeat, do not — buy this light if you intend to put it on your dog and he/she will jump or shake his/her body, such as to shake off rainwater from his/her fur, while it is on him/her. The light may go off. After turning it back on, it also may not operate in the mode you desire. Two bad designs contribute to this problem. One, the batteries do not sit flat in the casing. They slant. Therefore, contact between the batteries and the metal contacts is not always maintained. Two, the casing is secured with only one screw (at one end of it). Therefore, when the light is shaken, the batteries inside can move, and contact is lost.INITIAL REVIEW belowI bought two of this item. It is very thoughtful of the manufacturer to include the smallish screwdriver to use when we need to replace the batteries. And throwing in the keychain microlight as a bonus is also appreciated. Now to the nitty-gritty.THE MAIN LIGHTThis light is all right if you hold it, because then you can direct the beam of light away from your eyes. It is also all right if you clip it to something on either side or the back of your body. It is not all right if you clip it to something on the front of your body, because of the glare of the light beam, unless you have something else to serve as shield. The claimed luminance of the LED is 25 lumens. Unfortunately, much of this is severely diffused and some get blocked (so, lost) by the silicone case. Therefore, the light is good only to illuminate your immediate area. As another reviewer has pointed out, it throws useful light across only some 5 feet. I have a few microlights, each rated at only one-fifth the lumens, but they can throw light as far as some 50 feet. In fact, when they are on beacon mode, cat’s eyes positioned up to some 100/120 yards away reflect the light from it.Caution: If you clip it to your dog’s collar, I would suggest that you do not clip it to the front part. Dogs’ eyes are very sensitive to light. That is why they can see even when it is too dark for us to discern anything. On the other hand, they cannot see well when the light is very bright. Therefore, if you clip it to the front part of the collar, your dog may not be able to see things directly in front of him/her.I am not quite satisfied with the light, and definitely will not put it any where on my furry companion. I have put mine in certain places in my home to serve as emergency lights in the event of power failure (brownouts/blackouts). Of course, one must bear in mind that my requirements may be totally dissimilar to those of many other people’s. What is unsatisfactory for the goose need not necessarily be also so for the gander.MICROLIGHTI am quite certain that the microlight that comes with the main light is one of the earliest commercial models, if not the earliest commercial model, made by Laughing Rabbit Inc., (LRI) of Blachly, OR. LRI has since discontinued the model. I bought two some ten years ago.Caution: Do be very careful when you unscrew the cover to replace the batteries. First, the screws are so tiny and black that once dropped, you may not be able to find them. Second, the switch assembly is delicate, and the LED can come free of the casing. Make sure you take careful note of how and where both are positioned, or else you will have the devil of a time putting them back together again and get the light to work.
