The Fairytale Matchmaker!
I really enjoyed this book! It was really cute and I can relate to Cory on how she is sometimes told (forced) to do things she does not want to do. Overall, I think the ending was very sweet and cannot wait for the second one to come out!😇

Discovering one's true self
The Fairy-Tale Match Maker is the first book in the series. It stars Cory. Cory is a Tooth Fairy, but she can't stand the job. It's too risky, the pay is low and it doesn't seem like collecting teeth does any good. She only keeps at it because her mother makes her. But one day Cory decides she's had enough and quits. Her mother is furious when she finds out and they have a big fight. So, Cory moves out and stays with her uncle. Cory finds lot's of odd jobs to do while she tries to figure out what she wants to do with her life. Everything is great until the Tooth Fairy Guild starts punishing her for leaving. They bombard her with seagulls, wreck her uncle's yard and even kidnap her woodchuck. And on top of all that she finds out there is a secret about her family that her mother has been hiding for years. Will Cory ever get the Tooth Fairies to leave her alone and will she find out the secret her mother has hid for years? This is a great book, I love how E.D. Baker tackles the subject of not just finding one's place in the world but finding the place you are happy.

2.7 stars.
The plot of this book is peculiar, and I surely like nursery rhymes characters (Little Miss Muffet and the Shoe House!), but the telling is corny, in some places more than in others.
