Easy to set up
Easy to set up, classy weights and professional jump rope included. Operation is smooth, relatively quiet "whooshing" and folds up for storage. The footprint of the folded machine is about 3.5' x 2', so probably won't fit in a closet or under a bed, more likely stand in a corner depending on how much room you have. Great for days when you don't want to hit the gym or go outside due to weather. Strong, no-nonsense, durable, well-built machine. Recommend it for loosening and strengthening back, knees and legs. Another positive is that it sits high off the ground for mounting, but it's still stable. Clips for feet are sturdy and adjustable, comfortable.

easy to use and competitively comparable to the Concept 2 ...
This machine is of professional grade quality. It arrived partially assembled and it took a little over an hour to assemble. It works flawlessly as expected. It sincerely surpassed my expectations. The only gripe I have is the electronic console is a little tricky to program. The machine comes with extras such a Back Saver Pad, EZ Speed Rope, 20 pound Premium Wall Ball, and 15 pound Slam Ball. These are a plus. I have already started a mini gym at home.Overall, the product is outstanding, easy to use and competitively comparable to the Concept 2 rowing machine.

this was very easy to put together
We've had the rower for a couple of months now and use it several times a week. As other reviews have indicated, this was very easy to put together. Took me about an hour and I'm not very mechanically inclined. I have no idea how to manipulate or enter the control console so we just hit the start button and start rowing. The height of the seat is very comfortable and easy to get on. So far we're really pleased with this purchase.

Great quality, great value
I have had this machine for just over a month, and it is the best fitness-related purchase I have ever made. A couple years ago, I spent $300 on a hydraulic rower. That rower is still in pristine condition (aside from the dust it has gathered), because I found out very quickly that hydraulic rowers are not like air rowers (I was accustomed to using a Concept 2). The hydraulic was great as far as working arms, but it was not giving me the flow and full body work out that I, personally, needed. Might work well for someone else, but it didn't work for me. I decided after that experience that I would rather do burpees all day for free than ever again spend money on something incompatible with my needs.Fast forward to 2016... It was time to try again.I ultimately decided on the Xebex over the Concept 2 based on price point and because the Xebex sits higher, which somehow felt better for me, personally. Chain pulls great, seat is smooth, damper is definitely comparable to Concept 2, console is easy to read and program. It is nice that it has a solid folding mechanism, as well. The Xebex was very well packaged and came with all the tools needed, which made things really easy to assemble. I had it unboxed and put together in about 45 minutes, and that was even with putting the foot gizmos on backwards at first (don't judge me :) ).If trying to decide between the Xebex and the Concept 2, the primary differences in the rowers themselves are that the Xebex has a more padded handle, sits higher, is heavier overall, and folds. The Concept 2 has a skinnier handle with no discernible padding, sits a few inches lower, is lighter, and flips up on end to stand up straight (rather than folding), giving it a smaller footprint when storing (could be important depending on your space). Both have strong chains, both track the same things (distance, calories, time, whatever), both have easily adjustable foot pads. It is possible that the chain on the Xebex is a bit smoother than the Concept 2, but the hiccups I experienced on a Concept 2 could have been because there were multiple people using the machine every day, whereas I am the only one using my Xebex.

This is a good quality rower
This is a good quality rower. It goes together easily, the build quality is great, and it's comfortable with a smooth pull. It is very similar to the Concept2, but I find it a bit more comfortable to use. The monitor displays all of the basic metrics you need at once, which makes it a little easier to use than the C2. It also came with some extra gear, including a sled and wall ball. Sleds are really fun, so this is a nice bonus. I'm really pleased with it overall. You won't be disappointed!
