Perfect modern headlamp upgrade for 1981 Honda GL500I Silverwing!
I purchased this headlamp as an upgrade for my 1981 Honda GL500I (Interstate / Silverwing) motorcycle. First impressions - it is a phenomenally excellent upgrade when compared to the OEM reflector and standard halogen bulbs. It was hard to know whether this would fit, but it does. It is a perfect drop-in replacement for the old glass reflector housing. You may need to re-aim vertically to get it pointed just right.Benefits:- Wide spread, illuminates left and right of road (ditches, etc)- Much longer beam of light- Brighter- Low beam is much better than halogen, actually usable- High beam is amazing, so much better aimed, straight down the road, not up into the trees.- Perfect fit for existing headlight clamps and aiming mechanism on my fully faired Honda GL500I. Works like it came with the bike.- Made in USA, tangibly better quality than cheap units, feels substantial.- 3 year warranty - hope not to need it but nice to know, right?Negatives:- None that I saw.Highly recommended! Probably works on any CX500, CX650, GL650, etc.

I am very pleased! Clean
This lamp really lights the road up! I am very pleased! Clean, white light, not yellowish, like typical H-4 bulbs and reflectors. I installed this on a 2004 road king FLHR and we compared this light with my buddies 2002 RK at night and this is a much better lamp. This will also take some load off of the charging system while taking a little heat off the engine. I'm converting everything on the bike to LEDs tail lamp, brake lamp, turn signals, fender tip lamps, so far pretty well pleased except not so sure on the rear turn brake lamps (with the HD module to use turns as brakes) I would like them to be brighter when hitting the brakes. I used Hot System 13-SMD White 1156 for this. But they were really not made for this application. As others have said, this lamp does protrude out of the trim ring. You can buy another trim ring to cover it.This is one safety item I am glad I bought. Well worth the $$, looks good and works good. Could save your life one night.

One of the best upgrades I've ever made
I was searching for auxiliary lights because my standard 7" headlights weren't putting enough light on the sides of the road. I was spending $50-$60 per pair on aftermarket bulbs (silver stars and the like) that didn't last long and still didn't give that much light. I basically couldn't see where I was headed when making 90 degree turns at intersections. I stumbled across these and decided to give them a try. WOW! They are WAY brighter than silver stars, and they have an excellent pattern as well - razor sharp cut off so you don't blind oncoming drivers, and they throw a lot more light down low and to the sides than standard headlights, so you can see more of driveways and side streets as you're turning into them. Some reviews complain about the "X" pattern. It's visible, but it doesn't really bother me. It would bother me if the light were dim and the X was the only place it were bright, but the lights are super bright, and the "X" is just an area of super duper bright, so it doesn't concern me at all to have the pattern there. It actually helped me to align my headlights just right. Waterproof, shockproof, low current draw, last virtually forever, excellent pattern, way brighter than anything I've ever had, and plugs right into your existing wires. What's not to love? The last pair of headlights you'll ever need to buy. Treat yourself - spend the money - you won't be disappointed!

Quality Light with Poor Pattern
Seller experience was great, light appears to be good quality. The Adjure mounting ring required for installation on my motorcycle failed after about a year and I ended up going back to the factory headlight housing with a Cyclops LED bulb. This light is bright with a good color, but as you can easily see in the Jeep Wrangler pictures from another reviewer, the pattern has large dark spots and is very patchy. It might be better with 2 of them in a vehicle, but for a motorcycle, a quality LED replacement (with a designer that understands emitter placement to properly function in an incandescent reflector) will be significantly better than this bulb. The Cyclops bulbs are about a third the price, too.

Amazing Upgrade for Jeep Wrangler!
I bought these for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon to improve night driveability.First, let me say, acole093, the seller I bought these from is a great seller. I purchased these on a Thursday and got them the following Monday. Thanks for the fast shipping!Second, the quality of these lights is awesome. They are heavy and well built. Easy to install.I have attached pictures and this is the order of them: 1. Stock - Over head 2. Truck-Lite - Over head 3. Stock - Driver seat 4. Truck-Lite - Driver seat. As you can see the light output compared to factory is phenomenal. Light color is a bright white, with a slight hint of blue. Not crazy blue light HIDs.Overall I love these head lights!

Best Bang for the Buck
I bought these lights about 5 or 6 years ago, and had been pleased with them. I had the driver's side die on me about a month ago. Originally, I had ordered the JW Speaker J2. This came from the same seller, so the seller was not fault. I didn't like the lights. The packaging was cheap and the light pattern was disappointing. The Truck-Lite headlights were packed professionally, and the light pattern is better than my previous Truck-Lites. They are the same model, but there was differences in the construction. I really like the improvements to the low beam headlights. They now have a wider pattern and really light up the shoulder on either side of a single lane road. The high beams where a bit dialed back, but that's ok because the old version was blinding on speed limit signs...now not so much. The cool thing is that they are lower in price on Amazon when compared the Quadratec.
