Used for HPZ620 to install an Nvidia GPU
Fit perfect and works well. The only change I'd make is to have the cables come out of the 8 pin connector at a 90 degree angle.

Great adapter for my HP Z640
I needed an 8 pin PCI-E plug for my RX 6600 GPU. Problem was, my HP Z640 has 2 6-pin plugs. I looked around and a lot of other adapters looked cheap and flimsy. Last thing I wanted was to have a cable spark up in my PC that I use for work.I found this cable here on Amazon and it was priced well and looked like it was better than others. I ordered it and got it within 48 hours. I plug it into my PC and everything works perfectly.I like that it is sleeved for better protection, plus it just looks neater than exposed black and yellow wires.If I ever need another cable, I will be sure to buy one of these.

Exactly what's needed for 8-pin GPU.
I installed a metal-capable GPU in my Mac Pro. This cable fit the 8-pin connector perfectly, and the GPU works great!

The cable was a suitable length. I am using it to power a Asus ROG Strix GTX 1070 (essentially an nVidia GTX 1070) GPU which I'm using to upgrade an old Dell XPS9100 from the original AMD (f.k.a. ATI) GPU. The new GPU has a 8 pin power connector whilst the AMD used 2 6 pin. Plugged it in and it worked straight off, so the cable did its job.I was initially shipped the wrong product (male to male, which would work with power supplies that have connectors rather than cables) though and am returning it.

I bought this and genuinely wondered if it would work in my Mac Pro as a standard 8-pin lead to one of the motherboard power ports didn’t work on my GPU. I bought this hoping it would work - and my graphics card fired straight up! 👍 The good thing about it is that you can also use it on a 6-pin GPU if you change your card. Great deal, very well made and - most importantly - it worked in my Mac
