This face cream arrived in very premium gift packaging and would be a beautiful skincare present to receive. The bottle is contained within a heavyweight, flip open white cardboard box which is held together with magnetic closures and protected with its own cardboard sleeve which keeps it all together. There is also a comprehensive information leaflet included too. Unpacking this face cream is an experience in itself and I think the presentation is definitely luxurious.The plastic pump dispensing bottle contains 50ml of product and it has a nice smooth consistency with a white colour with a light pleasant scent. It applies smoothly and readily absorbs into my skin without leaving any sticky or greasiness residues. It is free from any artificial fragrances.The clever cream combines various ‘technologies’ and the resultant cream focuses on vitamin A and its anti-ageing benefits. It uses the following ‘ingredients’ to help achieve smoother, brighter and more even skin as well as incorporating a moisture boost in order to leave your skin feeling soft:• Encapsulated retinyl retinoate which is x8 more powerful than standard retinol (exclusive to Medik8)• Stabilised Vitamin C for visible brightening and antioxidant properties• Hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate, smooth and visibly plump the skin• Vitamin E delivers additional antioxidants and nourishing nutrientsThe face cream is suitable for sensitive skin and hasn’t cause any adverse reactions with use. The cream effectively softens and smooths and I have really enjoyed using the product. The face cream can be used either at night or in the morning due to the photostable formula, unlike most retinoid products and I have been applying it after my cleansing step. I thoroughly massaged the cream into my face and neck and finished by applying sunscreen before exposure to direct sunlight, as otherwise this can cause skin sensitivity. Do be sure to follow the instructions to ensure safe usage.Priced at £113.99 as a one-off purchase or £126.65 if you sign up to Amazon’s subscribe and save scheme at the time of reviewing, this is a premium skincare product and is an investment in your skincare routine, but I do actually think that it is making visible signs of improvement to my skin appearance, and the beautifully designed luxury packaging makes it a wonderful gift. So, if you afford it, I would definitely recommend this face cream and the Medik8 range of products.

The surprising thing for me about this, is that in a relatively short period, ie “Days”, I could feel my skin was different, it feels tighter, not stretched, but, as thou the tiny gaps in my skin are filled and smoothed out, if that makes sense.I have quite a furrowed brow, which means I have a lot of smaller wrinkles off the deeper ones, and they are also fuller and firmer, they seem to of lessened in definition, and it just doesn’t feel as pitted, or for want of a better word, rutted, my forehead is just tighter and not as loose at the sidesThe main time I’ve noticed the difference, is first thing in the morning, my skin puffs up less, and just feels fresher than it usually would first thing. I don’t really even apply very much, I use 1 pump to cover under both my eyes, and 1 pump to cover my forehead.I like how easily, and quickly, this blends into my skin, it makes it quicker and easier for me to apply it in the morning when I’m in a rush.The pump works well, and delivers a smooth, consistent amount of cream each time.I don’t very often comment on packaging, but it’s clear even from the packaging that this is a product that they have taken some care on producing.All in all, I am very surprised at how much difference this has made to my skin, I was also surprised at how quickly I could feel and see the difference, and whilst I realise there is a price tag to it, I can’t deny that it’s made a difference, in a very good way, if only for how my skin feels, to me, on my face, I just feel fresher, and, I value that, and thats not the only difference it’s made, so, I like this a lot.

Well, this is at a price point way beyond my means, so I was very interested to try it. The packaging alone is very high end. The container has an easy press down dispense which is clean and easy to use. The moisturiser is creamy and smooth and glides onto the skin and absorbs easily without any feeling of heaviness or greasiness. Immediately my skin feels smooth, soft and silky and definitely improves the way my skin feels. My only concern is about avoiding the sun after use as it contains retinol, so best used at night and with a sunscreen during the day to avoid skin damage. That aside, if you can comfortably afford it- go for it -this is a classy moisturiser that delivers results.
