I usually buy creosote from a local DIY store. This time they were out of stock, and so I ordered via Amazon - Price was about the same. I was super impressed with this product. Easy to use and to re-treat my fence panels. Great quality product.Delivery was within a couple of days. The container came wrapped in a polythene bag and then inside a heavy-duty cardboard box. Nothing leaked.I would definitely recommend this product and will order again through Amazon.

I purchased the light brown and have being applying it over the last few days (June 25). I used both a brush for the fence that is next to a wall and an electric spray gun for the rest. The product soaks in well, covers lightly and blends well to look natural. It really does bring out the beauty of the timber and not just paint over it. Applying is messy, I used dust masks, surgical gloves and swimming goggles to fully protect myself, you need to as this stuff is very strong so use extreme caution as I did. You will also need white spirit afterwards to clean the spray gun, brush and any spills, I put down cardboard boxes to catch/absorbe any drips while pouring product before using, this kept the mess to a minimum. Brilliant product I am really happy, so can highly recommend.

I pressure washed, sanded down 60,80,120 grit and then applied this product, see before and after photos (dark bit are shadows). It seems like a good product, however it has strong smell like diesel after applying (hopefully goes away with time). Definitely wear gloves on application (nasty stuff) and they aren’t kidding when they say 24-72 hours dry time in 5-20c weather. Prep was a pain but application quick and easy with a little care.

Very easy to apply ( be careful it stains skin and paving ) and goes a long way , when it drys it looks great and its a fraction of the price of the usual wood stains / paints , highly recommended 👍

The fencing had not been touched for at least 10 years so was very thirsty. We used a Cuprinol sprayer and it was really easy to apply no need to dilute. A little messy and has a strong smell but dissipates in a few days. We applied a second coat a week later. It went on dark but lightened within the week but the colour really depends on the condition of the wood. Overall a good product and would definitely recommend.

A excellent water repellent that was very easy to apply and soaked in to the panels well, plus the colour when it has dried is great.That pleased with it I bought another 20 litres to some more fence.Definitely recommendable.

Covers well and does the job okay.
