Not the newest but just what I wanted.
I had this exact microwave for years and love it. There is no light when you open it, just when it is running. That was something I got used to. I realize they have 'inverter' ones now, but I really wanted the same model since my older folks and I were used to how it works. After searching and seeing a post with a photo, I ordered it. The microwave did come sooner than announced, can't complain about that. Plug it in and works great so far. My older one started the clock count down but the motor and turn table didn't move unless I tapped the counter or held the top of the door shut tight. So not sure if it was just unbalanced or wanting to retire. It's simple to use and if it is anything like the old model, it should be reliable.

Not for VISUALLY IMPAIRED!
This is a perfect Panasonic product for most customers on earth. Nice size with 1100W. But UNFORTUNATELY have to give it 4⭐️ because the keypad design is dark – the numbers are dark – and not user-friendly for anybody with visual impairment. Also not senior user friendly because weaker hands cannot manage the small interface numbers on the keypad. Had to exchange it for a more friendly keypad face (actually a dial design by a different manufacturer). Too bad because my old Panasonic that gave its last gasp lasted 20 years. Don’t expect this with any differentbrand.

Works well
Works well. Has lots of features. Easy to clean. Nice replacement for a 30 year old microwave.

I feel like I am getting the run around, something I have never experienced with Amazon before.
I am having a problem with my Panasonic microwave and no one is helping me to return it. I expected to be able to return it to Amazon as defective because it has started to make weird noises whenever I try to use it. I have become scared to use it. And, it is all I have to cook with besides the toaster.

DANGER!!! FIRE HAZARD! Don’t buy! After a year, it now doesn’t stop microwaving after time ends!
This microwave is horrible! I rote this part a month ago but see my update below: We’ve had this microwave for about 15 months now. It heats things fine. It’s not overly noisy as it runs or with it’s beeping. BUT the buttons!! OMG, they drive me insane. So there’s only three things a microwave user has to do: insert food, push the buttons, close/open the door. I use the microwave all the time and step 2 is maddening! The buttons are made to appear touch sensitive but they’re actually push buttons. Push buttons are fine, I like push buttons,, but I like push buttons where there’s a BUTTON. Every single time I use this microwave, I have to push so hard on every button (every number, every reset, every start/stop) that my finger shakes and bends. I even tried putting puffy stickers on them to make sure we push directly on the button and it doesn’t help. You have to be exactly in the middle of each button and push HARD to get a response. I’m about ready to throw the thing in the creek and get a different one. Didn’t they have their people test this with regular use first? I’m guessing not.UPDATE—- DANGER!!Now this microwave has added a new feature. It’s been experimenting with it for about a month. When it’s done microwaving, it doesn’t stop zapping! It’s scary and dangerous. It doesn’t sound right and at first we thought maybe there is a fan issue but after several times of not getting our coffee out immediately (after warming for the same amount of time we usually do) then coming to get a minute later and finding it boiling (or boiling over), we realized it’s still microwaving! Unplugging it then plugging it back in worked at first but not now. The only thing that makes it stop microwaving is leaving the door open. It’s crazy! And SO DANGEROUS! It could start a fire doing that! And hopefully it’s not microwaving us too! It’s extra loud now whenever we close the door. I tell the kids to stay away from it.

Doesn't last to long
This is my honest review. I loved it at first. It heated up everything evenly and quick I didn't even have to have it to heat up for long. we hardly use it because we have other things we use like air fryer etc. We only use it when we want to heat something up quickly. So I have had it for 3 years and now it will cut on but it will not heat up the food. Now I have to buy a new one because the amount of money it cost to get it fix is expensive so I'm just better off getting a new one. My last microwave lasted longer than 3 years I had it for almost 7 years. So I would buy at your own risk. For only working for 3 years its not worth the money to be honest. I bought cheaper that lasted longer.

Very quiet, easy to operate, sleek design, what else is there?
Read a lot of reviews on microwaves before settling on this model to replace my ten yr old GE. Didn't want too many preset settings, browning top, convection , etc..this one fit the bill and was well liked generally..in fact it operates just like my old one so there's no learning curve. It's white inside, which I like, although the light only comes on when it is cooking..can live with that.. As far as hitting the power button multiple times to get the desired power, as some reviews mentioned, does any one really cook at 20%?? I generally use 70-80%.. so not an issue. I haven't tried the Keep Warm function yet but that mode appeals to me. The best thing I like about it, in addition to its simple functionality, is how quiet it is compared to my old microwave . Even the beeps at the end are quieter. .. the only negatives I have found so far are that it is too small inside for oversized platters, but it handles a large dinner plate just fine, and the defrost function seems to be only for meat, i.e., can't defrost a muffin on auto defrost because it asked for number of pounds. Neither is a big issue for me..I am very happy with the size as I have limited space on my counter. Overall a great choice!
