Ottimo oggetto io lo uso per far funzionare le mie Dash cam 24h su 24h 7 giorni su 7!!!L'unico modo buono SICURO e conveniente per far sì che la dashcam (telecamera di sicurezza per auto) sia in azione sempre così da non perdere nessun secondo di sorveglianza!Va attaccato alla presa di entrata della centralina OBD2 tutte le macchine dall'anno 2000 in poi alcune anche prima usano questa entrata!ATTENTI SOLO AD UN PARTICOLARE!!!ESISTE QUESTA VERSIONE CON IL FINALE USB FEMMINAPOI ESISTE IL MINI USB DA POTER ATTACCARE DIRETTAMENTE ALLA DASHCAM E LA MICRO USB ANCHE ESSA VA ATTACCATA DIRETTAMENTE ALLA CAM!!(DIPENDE DALL'ENTRATA CHE HA LA VOSTRA CAM PER LA MAGGIORE HANNO LA MICRO !) IL FILO E MOLTO LUNGO PERCIO è creato appositamente per poterlo occultare passando raso al montante e poi infilandolo lungo il cielo ed il parabrezza...Ha 2 modalità SELEZIONABILI CON IL TASTO ROSSO SULLA PRESA OBD2!)"Quella con il segno ( 0 )Serve per la modalità che rimane la dashcam accesa per altri 5 minuti dopo aver spento la macchina e tolta la chiave per poi spegnersi e rimanere in parking mode (sempre se la vostra cam abbia questa funzione !!!!!) Does what it says it does, with the option to permantly power a device with the ignition off, or to power it when the ignition is switched on, so ideal for a dash cam when you need to have the vehicle monitored while parked, in a supermarket car park for example, or to activate the camera only while the engine is running for normal on road use.

Dosent work with a nissan in combintion with Aukey camera, when the car uses stop start mode it power cycles the camera, as well as power cycling it at random times. and with the switch on one of the modes and the rear camera pluged in it powercycles every 10sec so wase of time

Purchased this hoping it would solve my stop/start problem. After I hard wired my dashcam to the fuse box trying different fuses (always on and on with ignition) I had the problem of the dashcam turning off or re-booting when the stop/start kicked in. Using this OBD connector has solved the problem. Only tried the 5 min off mode so far so can’t comment on the always on mode.

The plug that goes into the cars obd port is very long and so means the trim cover cannot fit back. This was true of by Hyundai and Nissan vehicles but apart from that is brilliant.
