Well Designed!
The Kayak Drain Plug Kit worked well for me. I wanted a way to easily drain rainwater from a poly kayak that we leave on the beach in summer. The Drain Plug has two strategically placed o-rings, one that seals the screw-in plug and the other that makes a watertight seal against the kayak hull. The drain plug is easy to use and has a nice keeper feature that saves the plug from getting lost. The kit comes with a second plug. I haven't used the second plug yet but it is nice to have a spare.

Perfect for what I need!
I bought these so that I have a way to lock my kayak when I need to drop it somewhere, or when I need to walk back to my car. They work perfectly. It took me about 5 minutes to install with a spade bit. I used a 1” spade bit, and just kind of wiggled it a little when I was boring out the hole. If you have a 1 1/8” bit, it would be perfect. Easy to install, easy to use you can’t go wrong with these.

Great for a flat back canoe.
I have a flat back canoe and it is not always easy to unload everything when we are out and have taken on some water so I have wanted a drain that would be easy to install, that would allow us to pull the canoe up on shore and let drain. This one works perfect and even has a little latch on the plug to prevent it from falling out when unscrewed.I would recommend it for those reasons.

It's a boat plug easy to install
I bough them knowing they will work easy to install just make sure you apply 5200 paste

Great Drain Plug Product
Hi, I have Kayaks from Walmart, the drain plugs are not easy to use, so I went to Amazon and found these, they worked perfectly. You'll need a 1 inch whole saw or something to make the whole bigger, this was very easy to do, I did both kayaks in less then 30 minutes, this product is a great upgrade to the drain plug, it is a very well made product, and I don't see any reason anyone would not be happy with this.

Easy, quick install
No problems installing. A 15/16" paddle bit gave a better fit than a 1" would've but the 1" paddle would still work. I added a little silicone underneath to increase the seal the o-ring provided. Installed in 2 kayaks in under a half hour. Good purchase, will buy again if needed!
