A Good Unit for this Price Point
HDD fit snugly and needed no hardware to secure it in place. There are no pre-drilled holes, no screws, but some little plastic inserts that are not necessary. The tray fits snugly into the Dell e6400, latches and unlatches with the ejector mechanism and has a functional LED that flashes when the drive is being accesses (perhaps this was defective for the person who wrote the other review). This is a good unit for this price point and I would certainly recommend it.

Does one thing, does it well
Fits perfectly in my Latitude E6500. One thing this has that a lot of the various clones don't appear to is a (working) activity light.I just put an SSD in my E6500's native SATA bay and put the factory original HDD in this, and it all Just Worked exactly as it should.

It works well, but no disk activity light.
Very good but the disk activity indicator light is a dummy. This one fits earlier E-series Latitudes and Precision Mobil Workstations.

Well worth the price.....if you aren't in a hurry
Great product, easy to install....5 min max. Fits/matches well with latitude 6410. Drive recognized with no issues. Only caveat, it ships from China....ordered on 10/31, received on 11/12.
