Philip's Navigator Scotland (Philip's Road Atlases)

Essential for navigating around Scotland by car. Map pages are easy to read and the map scale is large enough to get around on the smallest of roads. We are planning for NC500 Scotland trip and find this map along with an NC500 specific guide to provide everything we need to navigate safely.Of course, having good GPS software for our iPhone will also be very useful, however cell phone tower reception throughout our route will be spotty and a paper map will be highly desirable.

This road Atlas is easy to use with detailed roads. Cell coverage in Scotland outer areas is low so great to have a hard copy map with the smaller roads. Spiral binding helps it last. It has a “key to map” page making it fast and easy to use. It includes “things to do” for specific areas. It has zoomed in areas for towns such as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Ft William, etc. it includes index by specific roads. It’s a must buy if you’re driving.

Great tool for planning your drive trip around Scotland. Plenty of reference notes and additional information for you to enjoy your trip. I'm very happy I bought it.

I am used to Rand-McNalley maps and this one is not as easy to use. Seems every place I needed was on the edge or under a spiral and to go off the page I had to go 10 to 20 pages to get the adjacent maps.

Invaluable map for travelling thru Scotland!

Easy to use and I don't need a magnifying glass!

I’ve used similar map books of the U.K. when I lived there. The detail and color coding is excellent.

I used it on our trip to Scotland and I found it to be quite good. I would recommend it for trips at about a month long.
