Nice looking, convenient, great for soups, holds temperature as stated. Very good kit for the money..

I looked at the former models before purchasing this one. The former looks exactly the same but has this fun spoon. Complaints of the lid never coming off seems to be a common complaint. When I travel with this I screw on the lid but when it's not in transit and just sitting around with its revitalising contents(tea), I untwist it slightly. They may have fixed the previous issue but I am not chancing it. Another issue that I did not see was the lip of the container. When tilting back the contents you wish to consume the metal lip is very thin and turns hot instantly. Burning your lips if you do not cool the contents correctly. Stays hot long enough for me, which is 2 hours. Personal rules I use while dealing with this item: 1) allow filling contents to steam while in mug before placing lid on top. 2) leave lid slightly unscrewed when not moving.

This flask is laughable and not fit for it's purpose. I have used countless flasks over years and this is by far thee worst I've encountered. Where do I start ... The only thing that is not negative I can say about it is its look. Other than that, it fails abysmally every department. So, here we go ... 1. it stays hot for no more than an hour, at 2hrs it is hot/warm, then by 3hrs it is luke warm and so on. So, that defeats the purpose straight away. 2. The design is faulty as it continuously leaks from the ridiculous gap inside the lid. So, every time you open it, the contants pours down the flask and everywhere else. 3. Whilst the lid is on, the liquid that leaks out of the lid sits on the rim of the flask and the stain becomes difficult to clean off. 4. When you close the lid, have to get the tightness perfect otherwise it either leaks out if it's not right enough, or you can't undo it, if it's too tight, but the line between the two is very fine 5. It's impossible to clean the lid effectively due to the ridiculous gap I have, reluctantly, come away from the wide mouth Thermos flasks due to the plastic lids, which are detrimental to health. Thermos are not listening to customers requests for a steel interior lid so I had no choice but to find an alternative. The performance of the Thermos wide mouth flasks is the best out there. But, health comes before anything. So, unfortunately, my search continues. But, in the meantime, anyone who buys this Black & Blum flask will regret their purchase. Trust me
