This is worth buying if you like spicy food ..for me the only negative on this one is that even after about 20 minutes to cook , it still had fee bites that were crunchy. Bought the chicken fettuccine and I would never buy that again

If you have a sensitivity to foods, do not try this while backpacking. The noodles themselves were fine, and it tasted great. However, I would not recommend this to anyone camping where they don’t have access to a bathroom…

This one is a a big “nope” to purchase again. This is the only flavor I have tried from Readywise however, I have purchased a couple 72 hour kits and I am now wondering if that was a mistake since this was so disappointing.The flavors are just really off- a sickly sweet taste. 10 minutes later and I just can’t get that out of my mouth. My son added a ton of soy sauce and was able to finish off the rest of the pouch.Texture is decent ( which is why I gave 3 stars) Cooks up quickly without the noodles becoming too soft. It is really just the taste for me. I cook a lot of Asian and Asian inspired dishes and this doesn’t take like any dish from any country that I have made or tried! Other than the kick of heat, I can’t even single out any particular spice.Another note: I wouldn’t say that it is 2.5 servings- especially if this is the main course ( or only course). It makes about 2 cups.

Similar to another reviewer, would not recommend for backpacking or otherwise unless you have access to a restroom. Not a good situation for personal comfort or the environment.
