Highlander Print Magazine

For those with roots in Scotland, there is nothing like a regular dose of Scotland's unique history and updates on the worldwide heritage of Scots and their descendants, who may be found practically anywhere on the planet. Articles in the magazine may cover an ancient battle or a more ancient castle, or a modern look at a clan, or the origin of a distinctly Scottish custom. It is pleasant reading, typically with a few pictures. The magazine includes regular updates on current events in Scotland and on Scottish related events in North America, such as highland gatherings and Burns night celebrations. Recommended.

Excellent Magazine on Scottish History & Culture. Covers great breath of Scotlands past over time. Articles are extensive. Also good calendar for coming events. Extremely popular with Americans of Scottish Ancestry. I have subscribed to it for about 3 decades and never disappointed. Always a good read! If you are interested in your genealogy, it makes you feel like you are connecting with your ancestors.

I was a reader of The Highlander up until 8 to 10 years ago. I stopped suscribing for a forgettable reason. I deemed that it was time to start subscribing again, because I wanted to read about Scotland and its history. The magazine is still wonderful to pick up and spend an evening just reading it from cover to cover. I'm glad I noticed it at Amazon. Joe A. Turner

I have received the Highlander in the past, but had difficulty re-newing my subscription through Amazon and getting it delivered to the correct address. This time, I just ordered a "new" subscription. I enjoy the articles and photographs.I have not received the next journal, so I cannot comment on delivery with this current subscription.

Another wonderful magazine about Scotland! This one focuses on the events, people, and places central to the Highlands, and is informative as well as entertaining. Great look into their world with nicely-written stories and articles and beautiful photos. Highly recommended!

I must admit that when I originally subscribed to Highlander I did it just for fun. However After a few Months I found myself meeting New poeple and understanding so much more about my heritage and Enjoyed going to Heritage events. The articles alone are worth the price of this magazine but there is soo much more such as event places and even a place I found that made my kilt! If your Scottish or of Scottish heritage this is a magazine you will never want to be without. Joe Ferguson II
