Buy it from Amazon.ae
Phone got some issues but might be fixed in later updates but don't buy from Amazon UK its a hell of difficult to return and a painful process. Amazon must look into that.

Works flawlessly. MIUI has a couple of small bugs but nothing to put me off the phone. What you get here is incredible value. The only thing I'd point out as lacking is the camera, it does an okay job in well lit scenarios but due to lack of OIS in poor light conditions it's really struggling. It's still more than usable but you have to set your expectations right. I wish they would have a dedicated micro SD car slot so can do dual Sim and expanded storage (like Redmi Note 10 Pro). Everything else at least for me is perfect. It's got everything I need from performance, to battery life to ease of use. It won't be as thin and light as your latest Galaxy or Xperia phones but it's not too bad either. With this thickness you would think the camera bump will be minor but no, it protrudes so much and that's the real thickness problem of the phone. When you try cases that make the back flat with camera it gets very bulky. Comes with a screen protector pre-installed and case in the box which are great additions. Also comes with turbo charger (tastes the phone can take) in the box albeit with a UK plug which a $2 adaptor from local Cole/Woolies fixes. You cannot find anything remotely close to this phones features locally with under $400. So don't hesitate to give it a shot.

Bought for a close friend whos Samsung phone had a cracked screen and dodgy digitizer. The cracked screen replacement would have been roughly £75 and that is only because it was insured !! It was decided that rather than spending so much on a replacement screen it was probably better value all round to spend a bit more and get a new phone. A new phone wouldn't have a 3 year old battery or be running on Android 9 either .............. BONUS ! Phone turned up and she was blown away by the quality, realising that you don't have to buy a main brand phone to get a solid feeling, good looking device. It's a big phone so don't get it thinking it can be used one handed unless you have enormous hands. The screen is of excellent quality, has a decent refresh rate and looks great. The one thing that has really surprised her is the battery life. Her old phone was needing to be charged every night (overnight) and generally needed a top up late in the evening if it was a late night. This thing lasts well into the next day without breaking a sweat, it's phenomenal. Sure you see a bit of bloatware installed from the factory and there are a few corners cut here and there, but for the money it's an absolute beast of a bargain. I'm only 9 months in on my oneplus 8T and I'm wondering if this would have done everything I need in a phone but for less than a THIRD of the cost.

I look for longevity in a smartphone, which implies a reasonably fast processor, decent amount of RAM, and good storage. With 8GB RAM and 256GB of ROM, plus the option of expansion using an SD card, this phone is at the top end of the range. It also has a fast processor. The screen is average in terms of colour and brightness, not up there with the best (often at twice the price or more) but quite adequate. It also has a fast 120Hz refresh rate to appeal to gamers, not relevant to me. Key features for me are NFC (common but not universal), headphone jack (fast disappearing) and a decent camera. I'm quite pleased with the camera on this phone, which some reviewers are less enthusiastic about based I think on it having fewer pixels than the earlier X3 NFC, but in practical terms it is better than most budget phones and indeed than that of my last phone (Huawei) that cost nearly twice as much and with which I was perfectly satisfied. With 256GB of storage on board, few will need an SD card for media or apps, so the dual-purpose slot (2nd SIM or SD card) can be used for a second SIM which is how I use it. There is no dedicated manual for this phone, either supplied or online, but 'tips' videos online cover the features of the Xiaomi MIUI launcher. The launcher covers standard Android operation fairly well and has some useful tricks of its own e.g. individual app locks (which can be used to prevent others handling your unlocked phone accessing e.g. social media or email accounts), separate notifications and "toggles" pulldowns, 'sunshine' display mode for better screen usability in bright light, and a few more. It comes with Android 11 and is listed for Android 12 so should stay reasonably current for a while. At around £200 it is outstanding value and capable of satisfying people (e.g. me) who might otherwise be spending £300 or £350 to get a phone with lower performance than this- and I am taking that into account in the 5 star rating - no, it is not the ultimate smartphone, but most 'high end' smartphones are really little better in terms of functionality and commonly 3 times the price or more - if you aren't bothered by brand or gimmicky folding screens etc. then this phone is terrific value. You really don't need to pay more than this to get a decent, competitive phone. Some reviews highlight the thickness-it is not the slimmest, but the 9mm quoted includes the camera bump and just isn't an issue for me. I was concerned it would not fit in my Brodit universal car mount with the bumper case on, but it fits perfectly well. The thickness is no doubt at least partly due to and therefore justified by the large capacity battery, which lasts 2 days for me with a fair amount of daily use On initial acquaintance, a solid performer at a great price.
