They are high quality, the covers are beautiful, slick cardboard, beautiful reproductions of Japanese block prints. The paper is thick, I've experienced no bleed thru with fountain or gel pens with 1.0 tips, but sharpies do bleed through. I also like that on side of paper is lined and the other blank, in case I want to draw something. This are the perfect size for carrying in your purse or back pocket if you need to take something along to take notes.

Good small notebook to take around for jotting notes, quality cover and paper.
I really like these little notebooks. They are high quality, the covers are beautiful, slick cardboard, beautiful reproductions of Japanese block prints.
