Hourglass Timer 60 Minute, Black Wooden Frame Decorative Sand Timer (White Sand, Large Size)

I was looking for a quality hour glass and this is the best one I could find.

The hourglass arrived on time. It was well packaged, and a good price.The item itself is large, and weighs around half a kilo.I have timed the Hourglass - it comes in at 60:38. 38 seconds over the hour. That's 1.05% over. Which is very accurate for an inexpensive piece of decor.I purchased the white sand version, which is bright and clean. I was torn between colours, and may add further versions to my collection in the future.Would recommend.

It didn't get a 4 star, because some of the nuts were off and I had to put it back together!

Cheaper than I thought but it works.

Bought this for my husband, who loves hourglasses, and as soon as I opened the package it was very dusty, the screws were loose (had to tighten them up because if I didn't do so the whole thing would be wiggling), and the surface of the base started to peel.I think that overall, it's just ok. Not sure if it's worth the amount of money that they are charging for it, to be honest.

Bought this as a gift for my friend who loves clocks and hourglasses, it arrived quick especially for a holiday but upon opening, only 2 of the 4 posts were attached. The other two were just rattling against the glass. Found the two missing nuts in the bottom of the box with one not having the dome on it which throws the leveling off. Then there are two spots that look like water damage or just scratched up really bad. The sand and the concept are cool but poor quality and lack of care went into this product. I will not buy again.
