This cookbook is super easy to follow, very clear, and makes meals that are absolutely fantastic. From the description, I half-expected it to be one product advertisement after the other, but it's not that at all - the ingredients are explained without specific brands mentioned, and it's all really accessible. I've made a couple of recipes already and they've been incredibly delicious. Definitely worth 5 stars.

Super helpful when shopping in Asian markets!
I bought this cookbook primarily for the recipe for pao cai, as I love pickled vegetables and don't have "Chinese eyeballs" and needed the exact measurements that aren't provided in Cooking Bomb's YouTube/Instagram videos. I really love the explanations of different ingredients and lists of brands and items that the author prefers! It makes shopping in Asian markets much easier. I am vegan so I have not made all of the recipes, but I love that she provides advice on how to veganize many of the dishes. I have made some of the pickled vegetable dishes, sweets and the sichuan chili oil and peppercorn oil so far and they've all been amazing. This cookbook is a definite favorite!

Good recipes
This book offers a good introduction to the basic ingredients needed for Chinese cuisine. Her recipes include some of the basics that everyone is familiar with and would like to make at home. I bought the book because I saw her Tik Toks about her pickles and the pickle brine that "is older than you". The recipe is in there but I do wish that it included some of the information about the maintenance of the brine that she provides in her online material.

Easy to understand,nice size with glossy picture pages.
I like the way its written on just one page instructions with a picture of the food on opposite page.The size is nice too, with glossy finish.And every dish vivian gives a reference to the places and meaning behind each entree.Also a guide for shopping. Explaining what products look like to help you in the asian market.Very Satisfied customer.

Great book
I found this author on ticktok and she is awesome. Not only are her recipes awesome, easy to follow and nicely printed but she has tons of free videos that pair perfectly with the book. My husbands only complaint is he is going to need to spirlize the cookbook because it isn’t a hard bound book.

It's ok!
I only found like 2-3 dishes i liked throughout the whole book. It's well written and easy to follow, that's why i gave it 4 stars. BUT it's just kind of wild recipes for my liking. Could just be me though. I'll probably gift it!

Inspired
I was so excited to receive our e-copy of the book! I am vegan so a lot of the dishes I cannot make so I improvised what I could! I always make a stir fry with noodles and was looking for something to add to the veggie and noodles or a way to change it up a bit. I watched her on YouTube shorts and fell in love with her energy and her 'circus'! I love the fact she focuses on her food but also adds in a bit about herself and growing up! I was so excited to read her book and see the same energy in her cookbook!! Me favorite recipe is her miso soup hands down! I love her book is not only Chinese but she has Korean food like kimchi in it! I cannot wait to cook some of these dishes for our son when he visits us from his A school (not sure what it is) from the navy! He loves boboa tea and I finally have a recipe I can make just for him!!! Thank you Lady CookingBomb!!

Absolutely In love with this cookbook. Took me a while to leave a review but I wanted to try out some of the recipes first. Every single thing I made tasted just like the takeout. A Christmas miracle 🤣🤣. I'm not a chef by any means and it's really quite simple to follow. Really happy with this purchase.

Amazing Chinese Cook Book!
I watch and follow Cookingbomb! And I would like to say that I now know how to make her pickled radishes. There are so many recipes to follow and the book is perfect for me. I have been wanting to learn how to cook Chinese food and now I do! I also ordered Maangchi’s 2nd big Korean cooking cook book. I want to to learn how to cook Korean food and I soon want to learn how to cook Japanese food. I give the book a 5 out 5

Recently moved out and been learning to cook, these recipes are diverse and delicious and id highly recomend investing in this book!
