These were bigger than I anticipated, but that’s on me . They are great steps and very high , but light to move around. They feel sturdy and secure to use , the top rail is great when on the higher steps .

I am a 4 foot 10 73 year old woman with a balance disorder. I bought this solely so I can reach to change my light bulbs. The treads are nice & close together ( great for arthritic knees/hip ) The and are also a better width than all my other ladders . The whole thing is light enough for me to move from room to room & incredibly stable. I feel totally safe & have even done some wallpapering as it actually is about a cm from my ceiling

Great ladder, stable. double check measurements on the photo which were delivered with the ladder but not on amazon when i ordered it. I had to return as not high enough for my need. Will order more steps. The company asked me 65 pounds if they would organize the return. Amazon did it free with Royal mail the following day. Excellent customer service with Amazon as usual

I've purchased 3 of these step ladders during the past 12 months and wanted to write this review to ensure that other customers know what a great product this is. I frequently require ladders for my work and cannot rely on clients to provide safe steps of the required height to reach ceilings. These 8 step ladders are ideal, and very light so easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces. The top platform is about 2.5m high meaning that even for a person of small stature these steps will allow you to reach safely up to 5m. I wouldn't advise standing in the top platform, although it's possible if you have a good head for heights. There is a strong wire attached to both legs and once the top platform is clicked down the steps feel very stable and safe. I've shopped around for these steps and the BPS price on Amazon is very competitive plus free postage...unbeatable! 8 Step - Platfom Step Ladder

Husband very pleased with the 7 step stepladder. He feels safe working off it, saying its very sturdy. Brilliant company to deal with after sales, as one of the feet got broken in transit...I e mailed them through Amazon and had a response straight away..two new feet came in the post the very next morning. This ladder has been a reliable product for tasks around the house, from installing the ceiling lights to painting and placing pictures on the wall.

Needed to get a set of high level steps like this for a while. Since will only be used occasionally they needed to be good value and lightweight to make easy to store. These steps met both of those criteria and more importantly very sturdy when put up. Have no problem operating at height with these.

I was beginning to find my existing 7 step platform ladder heavy and difficult to manouvre inside the house (I'm not getting any younger!). This ladder is very light and and so easy to move around the house. Despite its lightweight constructionin it is stable and perfectly adequate for inside cleaning and decorating but wouldn't recommend it for outside jobs. I will continue to use my old ladder which is more rigid for ouside jobs.
