Very nice knife
This is a very nice knife with a unique modern design, and very smooth ball-bearing action. And of course it's sold at a great price because you're not paying for a 'name' like (Ker,Spy,Ben,Sog,Ger, etc.) D2 steel is very acceptable and a great value. My problem is my knife was obviously a return. There were no marks on the blade, but it came in a re-sealed box and had fingerprints on it. This always detracts from the excitement of opening a new package that you are the first to handle. Amazon-If you are going to sell me an open box return, at least say so, and maybe knock off a couple bucks!!

Beast of a Knife
Larger than I expected.......(The Office pun) Nice and sharp out of the box. Great value for the money when on sale.

Im not seeing it.
Im not sure how people got an edge on their knives but i couldnt get an edge on this one.1. I used a wet stone on this knife.2. I used a belt sander with 220 to 400 to 1000 grit on it.3. I finally used a strop on it and after after all that grinding and polishing and sanding and stropping... This thing is still dull as a butter knife..i recently ordered another low budget knife, vortek and their knives are also made of d2 steel and after the same process mentioned above their knife held an edge. The eafengrow i have is nothing more than a show knife. Limited usefulness and poor edge retention.

Slow to open! Wish it was spring assist
Love the look and feel of the knife. But it opens up to slow for me. That big blade should be spring assisted in my opinion. Other than that I'm happy with it.
