Great purchase!
I'm actually impressed with the earpiece. I bought this for use with a two way radio for which I have a wireless speaker microphone. The earpiece is clear, lightweight and comfortable to wear for eight hours at a time. I will recommend this product.

Well made, sound good, expensive
Lots of transistor radios don't need 2 sides to listen to the news or other am radio broadcasts. Although this is not cheap the quality seems good and the sound is good. I use it every night to listen to am radio while going to sleep. Although cheaper stereo phones will work only one is needed for portable radios.

Great monopeice
This is a great mono ear piece. Works well and good sound. Lets me keep music/podcasts in one ear but hear everything around me as well.

Shoddy strain relief
I have no complaints about the sound quality of this item, in fact, the rubber plug is quite comfortable in the ear. However, after a few months of use, the cable sleeving has pulled away from the strain relief and exposed the raw braided copper underneath in the gap. It won't be functioning for much longer. I would recommend anyone looking for a single side earpiece get one with an over-the-ear or cuff design instead of anything like this. When there's only one earbud, any errant tugs or constant stress on the cable goes solely to that one ear instead of being distributed to both sides, necessitating much more durable construction than this has.

Good fidelity but not so durable
A single earphone is what's recommended for outdoor workouts, if one listens at at.This earbud came with a long cord, which is a benefit because for my MP3 player it serves as an antenna, and had good sound. It stayed in my ear through my workouts. However, shoving it in my pocket once too often broke the earbud. It should be more durable.
