Superb battery/charger combo
I really love my new camera the Sony DSC HX9V! It has made my picture taking a real fun. Portability, great features, well made...in other words Perfect! Perfect you ask? No issues what-so-ever? Well..yes...there are some issues: The camera is a bit bulky, it comes without a charger to charge a battery out of the camera and the batteries do not last for long. My previous camera a Casio Exilim could go for almost a week on one charge. The Sony will hardly last a day on regular use and a few hours on heavy use. What can one do about this? Recharge the battery you say. Correct, but this takes a few hrs that I do not always have. So I decided to buy a new battery to have as a spare. As I always do on every purchase I started checking out sites, opinions etc. etc. until I came across the Wasabi Charger with TWO InfoPack batteries. All opinions on this package seem to agree: A Great product at a great price, so I decided to buy it and am I glad I did!The package came in no time with Amazon Prime and I immediately put one of the two batteries to charge. In the eman time I checked out the accessories that come with the package: The Charger, Two Battery Packs, European/South American outlet adaptor and Car battery Adaptor. Great! The Battery was ready a few hours later and since we were in the middle of Christmas "fever" I set out taking photos and videos everywhere (pissing off some of my family members in the process). The battery lasted at least as long as the Sony battery that came with the camera and since it is an InfoPack it has the additional bonus of enabling the camera/battery feature where the camera tells you exactly how much charge you have left in the battery. A great feature indeed. You will never be caught with your pants down when taking photos. In the mean time I was charging the second battery pack and by the time the first one was empty I had a freshly charged battery to play with: "Infinite photo taking time".I have had this set for about 3 weeks now and I could not be more pleased with it. The batteries seem to outlast the standard battery that came with the camera (after having been recycled a few times already) and I no longer have to sweat running out of battery at a "critical" moment (like filming my wife or kids). The original battery is used as my ultimate standby in case I use 2 batteries and forget to charge them (a near impossible situation unless there is no electricity where I may find myself).I give this package my highest recommendation. There may be cheaper sets out there but for what this one offers it is a heck of bargain and a value.Buy this and you will never regret it.Happy New Year to all.

Complete garbage, only holds a charge for 15 minutes.
If I could give this product a lower score than 1 star I would. I read several reviews before buying this product. Many of the reviews indicated that that the life of replacement batteries were very poor. I decided that I would buy the batteries since I'd had good luck with aftermarket ones in the past. The batteries came in professionally packaged. I took them out of the box and charged both of them overnight before using. I used both batteries in my camera and to my surprise they would only hold a charge for 15 minutes. My original Sony Battery that is 6 years old still performs better and will hold a charge for 45 minutes. Needless to say I am very disappointed and will be sending these back.I too sell products on another E-commerce site and do my very best to sell quality product. As a result my customers are happy and I have very few returns. It is beyond me how Amazon would consider selling a product like this that is not any good. I am happy to buy a more expensive product if I knew that the performance would at least be equal to my 6 year old Sony Battery.

Docking to 4 stars due to minor usability workaround I have to do
I bought the battery / charger kit so I would have backups for Sony DSC-HX30V camera. The batteries and charge work great. Frankly I can't tell any performance difference between the factory (Sony supplied) battery and these. I'm pretty sure that the cost of one "official" Sony battery would equal the cost of this package so, in that respect, this is a very good value. Highly recommended.REVIEW REVISED 9/01/13 Dropping this to 4 stars from 5 due to an annoyance. As another reviewer here has noted, this charger design has one usability quirk that might at first lead you to think it is broken.WARNING >> If you want success: You may need to insert the batteries physically "flipped" over in this charger --- yet still oriented so that the brass tangs on the battery make contact with the pins in the charging bay --- if you want the battery to actually accept a charge. This is actually do-able and quite simple once understood - but if you don't know about doing this, you may think the charger is broken. I don't recall receiving any instructions or pictograph hint telling in detail about battery insertion. I believe this issue happens due to some kind of minor design tolerance issue involving a moulded ridge & indent visible inside the battery chamber. I.e. it's a problem with how well the battery reliably seats when you attempt to charge it with the battery inserted "normally" (I.e. logo graphic visibly facing you). What I call the back of the battery is the part with all the fine print about disposal hazards or FCC rating, etc. To restate: I have had to insert battery with the fine print facing me to get things to work. YMMV - test it? Other than this usability quirk - which you can work around once you know it, this combo set is a fair value. The batteries have worked fine and it charges just fine.Final advice: If battery doesn't seem to charge with the graphic & rounded edges facing you, flip it over so the fine print and square edges faces you -- just make sure that whichever method you use the battery "tangs" (contact plates) are in contact with the retractable silver colored pins in the charger.
