This bike is exactly as billed. With relatively little effort, one can put this bike together (with the tools included) in about fifteen minutes. The components are the quality one would expect for the cost. A few moments of adjustment to the brakes and the wheels spin free and fast. As a parent of younger children, I’m going to advocate for a choice here. I love to ride. I rode mountain bikes with my family, I played around with racing in college and I can still be found meandering about on my old Cannondale from time to time. I wanted my kids to love the bike as well. For young kids, it has to work, work well and be easy to have fun on. This is the bike you want. The parts last, the belt drive is the single greatest improvement to kid’s cycling since the balance bike (say no to training wheels- really, just say no). No grease, no chain to fall off, just get on and go. The biggest plus- this bike is almost five pounds lighter than its closest similarly priced competitor. It is more than ten pounds lighter than your average 20” cheapo. For reference, the average 6 year old only weighs 45-50 pounds. This is a MASSIVE percentage of their body weight. It makes an enormous difference in how far, how fast and how long a child can ride before they get tired. If you want them on a bike, make it easy and make it fun. Last piece before I get off my soap box: we’ve had this bike (the A11N 20”) for about a week. I included a picture of the A11N Belsize 16”s that still hang in the garage. Those two bikes went through just about anything a kid can put a bike through and still roll as fast as they did when I got them. Get a bike your kids will want to ride. This is the bike you want.

This is our second belsize bike, and my child loves it! So easy to ride, and she learned to ride it in days. Worth the cost, and nice and light.

Bought this for my son's birthday. Prior to this he had a starter Lightning McQueen bike with training wheels, which was fun but it was much heavier. I took off the training wheels, took off the pedals to help my son get a feel for balancing but nothing worked on that bike. As a frustrated dad and looking for what to try next, I started researching kids bikes. I zeroed in on this bike because of how lightweight it is; the belt drive also piqued my interest. I took a leap of faith, ordered the bike and the rest is history :) Took him out the 1st time to a local park and ran with him while he was trying to get a feel of the bike. He did perhaps 50-100 yds on his own wobbling side to side. The 2nd time was a few days later in a cul-de-sac. I got him started with a little push and he just took off ! It was definitely a happy + feel good moment. If I had known about this bike earlier, I would have invested in quality like this in a heartbeat, it's paying for itself real time.

Like another reviewer - I have a bolt on the front wheel that is locked and will not come loose which means I cannot put the bike together. Sent a message to the seller, hoping for a quick response and replacement wheel otherwise this bike is going back. What a shame, it's a nice color bike and VERY lightweight. Again, hoping for quick resolution as this is a birthday gift...

Our son liked the bike very much. It is light weight, so it is extremely easy to handle. The breaks needed a little bit of adjustment after the installation, but it is normal. Packaging was good and the bike was very easy to install. The bike was discounted, so the quality price was very good.
