How can you certify organic?  You cannot claim all areas within 3 miles of your hives have no spray or pesticides!

Actually, you can. If you own a 24,000 acre farm in the Midwest USA or Brazil, and you put your hives in the center of this farm, you can know that there are no sprays or pesticides within 3 miles in any direction. Alternatively, if there is a large area of farmland owned by other farmers but all certified organic, and your hives are in the center, you can also guarantee that there are no sprays on the plants accessed by your bees.Here's the math: 6 miles by 6 miles = 36 square miles. If your hives are in the center, they are at least 3 miles from all the edges of your property. 36 square miles = 23,040 acres. That sounds like a huge number of acres to most people, but there are plenty of farmers in the world farming much more than that. Why it is to thick? Is everyone's like this? I basically need to put it in microwave every couple of days to make it more like a syrup than butter!

oh- i am not so sure you should be putting it in the microwave..i don't know if that might negatively impact the therapeutic aspectsbecause it is so pure and unprocessed it contains an amount of bee's wax-- if i  need some  to be liquid i just take mine and put it in a container and rest that container in a bit of boiling water. if i am using it in hot tea or something hot and liquid i just carve out a bit of a chunk with a flat knife that i've put into the hot liquid--it dissolves very quickly

Why is this honey so much lighter in color than other raw honeys?
