Look in a listing for "cut-off wheels". They are made that thin. DaveGx

Q: What size hole for mounting on bench grinder

The mounting hole in the wheel is an inch and one quarter (1 1/4"). It is the standard size for a precision grinding machine. I got mine for a regular surface grinder and it works well. I don't know that it would work on a bench grinder. They usually have sloppier bearings and the diamond shouldn't be rattled into. I cannot recall a bench grinder being sold with any type of diamond wheel as standard. I think I've seen them made with a smaller diameter that are primarily for the small cutter grinders. A ID/OD grinder adapter for a metal lathe would probably work with one of the smaller wheels. The bottom line is I don't think it would be safe to hand feed anything into a diamond coated wheel made for a surface grinder. I cannot recall ever seeing it done and I've been in the tool trade for over forty years. The green silicon carbide wheels can work on bench grinders and I've seen them sold with a green wheel mounted. I have a pedestal Baldor in my shop that came with one mounted and it works well. I've used it to touch up carbide tool bits for the lathe. Anyhow, that's my thoughts. DaveGx

Q: What is the maximum speed (RPM) this wheel is rated for?

I don't believe there is a rating publicized on diamond wheels. When I was at GM I noted that the wheels didn't have any RPM limits noted on them that I recall. A later ten years at a small outfit, where I did most of the toolroom ordering, I don't recall a spec on them either. I just checked my Travers and MSC catalogs and note that even USA made wheels including Norton don't show a spec. Lastly I just now popped out to my shop and peeked at all my various shaped diamond wheels and note that not a one has an RPM limit even mentioned on it. Most had either nothing on them or just a manufacturer's part number if anything. After 5 months use, I have no complaints with this wheel. I've used it mostly to add Weldun flats to carbide shanks and it cuts fast and smooth. DaveGx

Q: Is there an adapter for 5/8” arbors?

I have one from an estate sale that was made in the 1950's by Shopsmith.
