Great hat, sizing awful. I wear a size 7 so should be right in the middle for the s/m but I'm not. The hat is too big, gave it to a family member.

Good hat just looks ands feels a little weird when I wear it, I got the large so maybe the smaller size would look better when I wear it.

Very nice hat, but I am an average size male 6ft 180lbs didn’t think I really had a big head but this hat is very tight on my head and gives me headaches. So I needed up giving it to my wife. Again great hat

Edit: Amazon promptly replaced. Fits well, comfortable. Wore out yesterday with wind gusts up to 60mph throughout the day and it didn't come off, yet it wasn't too tight to cause discomfort/leave marks on forehead. Would buy again. May order one in the other colors as well*****************$Love the hat. Looks great, color is as expected, fits perfectly.My only complaint are some small spots on the hat, which I took a star off for. I thought it was just water, as there was some snow and ice on the package by the time I got home, so I assumed they would come out. 2 days and a baby wipe later and the spots still won't come out :/ otherwise would be 5 star

Pro's: Light weight, spandex band keeps it on your head (I ordered a S/M and usually wear a 7 1/2 hat - fit good), no button on top so you can wear headphones without interferenceCon's: The other reviews that complain about fit are correct. It's almost like the inside of the hat is smaller than the outer material, and as a result you get a "parachute" effect unless the had is pulled tight to your skull - by that I mean the outer material appears baggy. Even when pulled tight to my head, I've still got a weird bulge by my templesBottom line: If you're looking for something to keep hot brass off your noggin combined with the ability to wear headphones, this will work. If you want to win a fashion contest, look elsewhere.

Just a touch loose, but I'm bald - so anyone with hair... this hat is for you. Haha

Anyone looking to buy this should go for the small. It is a nice hat and is extremely soft and pliable around your head but go down a size. It was so big on me that my ears were covered and the bill looks a mile long. I love the feel of it but if I'd gone down a size it would be a good low profile tac hat. As is, it looks ridiculous. The measurements of my head wer just under the hat so the elastic should have made the perfect fit. So I did what anyone who worked as a tailors assistant didn't want to deal with a return and tightened the fit. Now it's about perfect after about 15 mins in the shoppe. If you can't DIY like this ship the hassle and get the smaller size. Good luck!

I don't know what other people were complaining about. This hat is exactly what I was looking for. It fits perfect, stays in place, and is comfortable all day long. Looks good. Fits snug but not to the point of causing discomfort over time. I really can't say enough good things about it. I'm going to buy a few more so I never have to worry about replacing it.
