Great having in my bag for those on-the-go days. I do love the chocolate coconut flavor, however it does have that “diet” aftertaste at the end. But not enough to sway me from the product. I do think they should have put “caramel” in the name description. I wasn’t looking at the photos when choosing the flavor, so was surprised when I bit into the bar for the first time. I’m not a big fan of caramel so that was disappointing, especially since this flavor is only available at 12 bars minimum. But if that’s not an issue for you, then I definitely recommend this flavor.

Flavor tastes really good

These protein bars are extremely filling. I mean I ate two early morning actually skipped lunch without paying attention it was already mid-afternoon before I had thought about anything to eat. These protein bars are not crumbly meaning they don't make a mess when you bite into them they are delicious and filling. They are not gooey or sticky they don't get stuck in your teeth making a mess sorry for being so long-winded but these or this particular company I think they got it right as far as protein bar I'm looking for I found it. Yes if anyone's reading some of us may agree or disagree Fair is fair. They are quite pricey. But we all know there's always a sale. LOL the smell of the protein bar it's not pungent it's quite nice so what's the taste. I say if you haven't you can give them a try it is worth the purchase I have purchased three boxes already of different ones. They all are great.

I am a low-carb guy. Have been for years. I must admit to having an on-again, off-again love affair with Quest products. I like their diversity of products and flavors, and adore their peanut butter cookies, but their bars come off as WAAAAAAY too sweet. You would think I would know better than to try something as obviously sweet sounding as chocolate coconut. But I generally like the crunch fo the HERO line, and love coconut as a rule, so thought I would roll the dice on this purchase.I wish I hadn't. Look, I like sweet things, but this is sweet set to '11' - and somehow the coconut flavor makes it worse. After getting pummeled by sweetness, this artificial coconut flavor comes in like an oil slick coating a baby duck and clings to your taste buds. It reminds me of that cheap coppertone sustain oil my mom would slather on us kids at the beach.I will never finish the box.Still, taste is a matter of individual preference. With Quest, it is low carb and you can count on it being a well made product The crunch is there, and unlike some of the bars labeled as meal replacement, these are large enough to actually substitute for a meal. But this is just not for me.

These bars are great for busy families. My kids sometimes struggle with the texture of other protein bars. The crispy layer in these makes them much more palatable and the sweetness of the coconut makes them almost candy bar-like.
