Surprised by how quiet it is and . The speed of the blade is slower than expected but cuts well. Well balanced and not heavy its easy to use and makes a good job of the most challenging hedges. Convenient and mire likely to use at short notice than it’s corded predecessor. Well made and worth the price.

Good but lacks a little speed

Brought to replace a much older cutter that had stopped working. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase. Quick to charge up, easy to handle and cuts efficiently. A good buy.

I have had corded trimmers ,but really found a gem upon discovering this diamond ,This Bosch hedge trimmer goes above and beyond and beat all expectations it is by far one of our best purchases ever( along with the leaf blower ) and no wires just a battery ;) the size is ideal for our hedges ,it is balanced lightweight no cables value for money batteries easy charging and very little noise ,I would recommend you spray the blades with wd40 before use and everytime you use for the day (it does say this in the manual so would strongly recommend you use read the manual ,just think no more cable and charging battery is very quick I have two batteries for our Bosch cordless tools so never run out , I would recommend this product for small to medium hedges and certainly rates up to one of my best cordless items I have for the garden ,yes I would buy again ,and say to any of you who are fed up with corded items to buy cordless ,my wife was dead against cordless saying they will be rubbish ,we now both run to use them lol .

So far I have personally found it better than the other electric cordless hedge trimmer i had by a famous hover mower brand.. It is good that the batteries for all Bosch products are interchangeable, which was my top point for purchasing this hedge trimmer .Down side of this is I am more likely to favour Bosch products in the future due to this ..So a very good marketing strategy from Bosch, but also being that their Brand is of high quality is not entirely a loss for me as the consumer

Very pleased with my purchase. I use to pay £70 twice a year to have a gardener cut my trees and hedges. Now I do my own and they paid for themselves after one cut. I also own the cordless pole trimmer and I have spare batteries on hand. The only thing I don't like is the dual safety handles that both have to be pressed to start the trimmers. Not easy up a ladder one handed but fixed with a small clamp. This is what I do to work one handed and I wouldn't recommend others todo this. I would recommend to others to buy this trimmer.

Read this before you purchase, this will arrive without a battery, and you have to buy the battery AND charger, which seem to come separate. Looks like the battery and charger will cost much more than the strimmer. I will be returning and advise all to avoid this product, its a bit of a scam.

Lighter & quieter than expected - &, yes, I did have my hearing aids in & switched on - yaay! Bought this item as I had already got the Bosch extendable-reach version, but; although that one is very good at what it does, it's too awkward & heavy to manoeuvre easily in the confined space between the back of the hedge & the front of the house - will use this one (the extendable version) to do the top of the hedge, & this new one for giving it a short back 'n' sides - also, it uses the same battery-pack as the extendable unit - win-win. Nice easy to use piece of kit - would recommend.
