VIOLUX 1 Liter Violet Glass Apothecary Jar w/Glass Closure

With Teavana stores closing, my wife decided it prudent to take advantage of the discounts and stock up on lots of very potent and aromatic teas. The problem was the containers in which she had initially tried storing them were very poor, by ways of odor control, and our kitchen smelled like a Teavana store (which makes me slightly nauseous - I'm not a tea person, just pass me a Coke, thankyouverymuch).Enter the Violux 1 Liter UV Glass Apothecary jar. I picked one up several months ago and they work so well that we're up to our third one. They are very well built - we've seen zero quality control issues and the tea we put in the very first one, several months ago, is just as fresh as the day it was scooped from their goofy bins. The glass stopper seems to create a truly airtight seal - there is zero smell and you can sort of feel the stopper bob up and down due to air pressure when you put the stop in to seal it.The only - and I don't even want to call it a 'negative' because it's so minor, but worth mentioning - improvement I could see making is, find a way to keep the stopper from getting so stuck during shipping. They put a heavy piece of paper/thin piece of cardboard between the stopper's glass and the jar, which helps, but it does take some patience and care when trying to dislodge it for the first time. After a good bit of wiggling they do all come free but since it is glass, it would be nice if I didn't feel like I was having to apply so much force.My wife is very pleased as she should be able to enjoy her teas for a very long time to come. I think she's since found some other boutique tea stores nearby so I'm sure we'll be ordering more of these jars. We're believers of the UV Glass, for sure. Thanks Violux!
