I've been using the translucent Airspun face powder since 2021, only straying away once. This is truly the best and a must in my makeup routine. It gives a matte finish but really helps me achieve a look that is both matte and slightly dewy. I put it right over my foundation and will occasionally reapply in the evening if i'm looking too shiny. I love that it's a natural, not cakey look.It is lightly perfumed. It is almost a cotton type scent but not overpowering.

Allow me to define the word, "irony" in a whimsical little anecdote I'll call, "Aging Really Sucks". I know that most of the women who read this will know what I'm trying to say. One day you're loving life, turning heads and pretending to bitterly complain to your best friend about cat-calls and unwanted attention from strangers passing by.Inevitably, as we all do, you get older. Now- I'm strictly speaking about appearances, the surface - as shallow as that might seem, it's a reality. Time carries on and the NEXT day, you're walking down the street and it's like you're invisible. It's heart-breaking.So, if you have the means, and even if you don't, you are willing to spend crazy loot to reverse that process and get back some of that glory in the flower.I have spent an embarrassing amount on face powder because I love the "matte" look - the light clean, even surface of a beautiful face. I have spent more on this finishing touch than I'm even willing to admit! But, somehow even the most expensive, the most highly rated powder wound up settling in my pores, bunching in the creases next to my nose and making me miserable. Out of sheer frustration I buy Coty Airspun face powder because I remember my mother using it when I was a little girl. That memory led to this though.... let's get down to basics and see what happens. Coty Airspun is simplicity- it doesn't come in 50 different shades, has one purpose, doesn't require a special brush, need time to "bake" or have to be used with other products in tandem to work most effectively.Wouldn't you know, it's Coty that winds up staying in place, not sinking into the pores on my nose, remains even - light and dry - and gives me the look I've been craving. This weekend, I thanked a man who held the door open for me at my local gas station and he said, "I always hold the door open for beautiful women". I thought I was going to fall out. But I have to admit.... it felt pretty good.Stop spending a ton of money on powder for your face. For the price of a "Americano Grande" at your local bodega, you can have the BEST FACIAL POWDER EVER.

I heard great things about this product - I watch a lot of Youtube beauty channels, especially Patrickstarrr who uses this frequently. It was always on my mind to get it, but never got around to it. After browsing for some new products, I saw this and remember how inexpensive it was and that Patrickstarrr uses it to bake and set his face. I thought to myself, "I'm getting this." And let me tell you, it does wonders. I love the packaging - it's so simple and easy. I'm happy the product came with the powder puff because I've never used it over the years of doing my own make up so I thought it was fun to use something different. When setting my face, I immediately noticed how soft it made my skin look and feel. It was amazing and I don't even use primers or pore filler products. It is pretty darn awesome.Since I got the translucent coverage, it didn't seem to effect the color of my foundation besides mattifying it and giving me flawless-looking skin.One thing, however, is the scent. I did not know this powder had a scent. And it was probably my fault for not reading the ingredients list, but I was so hyped I didn't even bother. I don't mind the scent, but it is very potent when first applied. Eventually, it will go away but the first hour or so of having this powder on, I could smell my face. Is that just me? It's a scent that reminds me of the 60s in black and white films. It's definitely not a problem for me, but having a fragrance in powders never crossed my mind.And by the way, the girlfriend of this account is writing this review. :D
