Good book for young and old beginner violinists, alike
My teacher uses the Sassmannshaus books for our lessons. We finished the first volume, so she asked me to buy this second volume next.I like this book a lot. I don't know paper terminology, but the book is printed on paper that's slightly thicker than normal, and glossy. The print is also fairly large so it is easy to read, and it has colorful illustrations as well. A lot more visually engaging than the Suzuki books. What I also like about this book series is how they break you into the different finger positions according to some level of difficulty.
