Flash AT Daily Carry Ambidextrous Partially Serrated Pocket Folding Knives Ergonomic Handle D2 Steel Blade

I bought this for my fiancée for his birthday and he was like oh “nice knife”. He didn’t think he needed a knife. Well we have used it almost everyday since and he has thanked me over and over for it. It is a really nice knife and very sharp and easy to use easy to open and easy to close. Has a safety latch so you don’t close it on your finger.

Love this knife. Love the color. Wish it was maybe a half inch smaller though. No big deal.

love this knife. carry it all the time. Opens great but is very stiff in the beginning. I opened and closed it A LOT to loosen it up, but now that it's worn in, it's great. Would def recommend, but it will need some working in.

As others have mentioned, opening the blade takes substantial effort. The way the thumb studs for opening are machined causes considerable finger pain if one can actually manage to open the knife one-handed. Considering this knife has an excellent safety lock, there is no ergonomic reason for opening to be so stiff (perhaps it has to do with the assisted opening mechanics?). On the positive side, the blade is very sharp, and the separate locking lever is a very nice feature. Was looking for a daily carry replacement for my Gerber lock blade, but sadly this is not it. Will likely return item. Update - 1 week in. I've upped my review from 3 stars to 4 stars. Over several days, I've sprayed the mechanisms with Lithium Grease, and worked the opening action repeatedly. Either my fingers are getting calloused, or the grease is working and the knife is less resistant to opening. Either way, I'll keep working on it to try to smooth out the mechanics of this knife.

Very impressed at the build quality and feel of this blade. I carried a flash 2 for years but it has seen better days. After giving this a try I kind of want the seal xr now.

I have several SOG knives, I love how they open fast, and are great quality. I've been using this for a month, and it's now my favorite. Function and Durability is most important, but the grey color is a big plus.

Overall i’d give it a 7/10 Thumb studs don’t work half the time and it hurts the thumb. There’s a lot of power when the blade comes out. Sorta rough.

To the people saying it's hard to open , they must have some dainty hands this thing opens no problem. Not the most effortless I've ever used but not a problem at all. Got this as a gift for my father in his 70s he loves it and opens it easily
