Really cute silverware organizer made of ceramic holders, securely seated on a wooden type base. There’s a bit of a whimsical touch with insets on each holder with little, lightweight metal pieces in the shape of the corresponding silverware. Cute and Functional - Finally Decided on 5 Stars
I'm changing things up in the kitchen and decided that I'm totally tired of silverware hiding in a drawer, so I ordered this 4-piece caddy.WHAT YOU GET► the set arrived well packaged and I think the UPS driver would have to had to run it over in order to hurt it.► there are 3 ceramic tableware holders with a dark stained wood tray that holds them.► the trays have indentations to keep the holder in place.► the ceramic holders have 'cut outs' of the basic 3 types of silverware --spoons, forks, and knives. These indentations/cut-outs have a metal spook/for/knife glued in them which is quite cute.What I LIKED was the appearance. The style would be appropriate for a lot of settings.What I WISHED WAS DIFFERENT is that the contains were larger. Not a lot larger, but another inch in diameter would have been better. And I wish that they were taller. The containers don't quite come up 1/2 on the silverware. This hasn't posed a problem so far, but the ratio sort of bothers me.CONCLUSIONWe are a family of 4 and these containers barely fit the silverware we use. (Perhaps we have more than other families.)Generally speaking though, I am satisfied with the quality for the price. And I definitely recommend this set.I've come back to upgrade my rating to a 5 STARS. I just love this caddy. I've had it 6 months now and it still looks like new, works wonderfully, and is pleasant to look at.Honestly, having flatware in drawers is a bother.
