Brilliant tuners
Ok, so if you're tuner hunting like I was you really only want to know the following things... So here we go!1. They look great. They're excellently machined with a rich gold finish and they look and feel premium (just as nice as the official Fender tuners on my Strat... At half the price).2. They work! So easy to change it strings, stable tuning and they don't drift.3. Fit requires a small, easy adjustment for My Bonanassa Custom ... So probably most LPs.They're a shade too narrow on the collars (but this allows a greater variety of instruments to use them... Better than too wide!).All you need to do is get some some tape (I used scotch tape). Cut around 6cm of tape and slice it down the middle, length waysThis makes a perfect width to tightly wrap around the collars, creating a shim (expanding the width). They will now seat in the headstock snuggly. With that done, line the tuners up parallel (just eyeball it).4. The screws! As you can see the fixings are 45° not right under the tuner. For me, this was just fine as my original screws were spinning from re-tightening over the last 20 years.5. You don't need a drill to fit! Before you take a drill to your axe... Read the following!Firstly, line them up. Next, you'll need a fine center punch tool and a hammer (the ones you tap into wood to start a drill hole).Line the centre punch up with the screw hole and GENTLY tap the punch into the headstock. ROTATE it as you gently remove it (don't wiggle it out ... You'll risk splitting the wood).Pop the screw in the starter hole and slowly and carefully screw it in. If it doesn't want to go in... Use the center punch again gently.Using this method I achieved a perfect fit for all screws in less than 2 minutes... Without using a drill. They now look amazing. I'll not fill in the original screw holes in case I ever want to reinstall my Grovers (unlikely as, unexpectedly, these are better). The guitar now feels stunning to play. String bends don't drift the G string and it's weirdly quicker to tune... And rock solid tuning stability once in.Many negative reviews for off-brand guitar parts are a result of a lack of ability to make simple adjustments. There is always size variance between models and brands of guitar...a bit of common sense, some basic tools and sticky tape can save you a fortune. My advice would be to buy these and follow these simple instructions ... Rather than spanking nearly £200 on Grovers.I hope this answered the questions I needed to know when I was browsing!Rock on!

Great value, work well. Great CS.
These arrived very promptly. I had an issue with one of the tuners, the collar wouldn’t tighten down far enough against the headstock. After contacting Guyker they sent a new one free of charge; that’s now fitted and working fine. Great customer service!I would say they’re not quite as good as really high quality (and expensive) locking tuners, but they do a really good job, look great and hold tune well.If they were twice the price, I don’t think anyone could tell, they’re well made and finished. The only one very small issue I had was that on a very light string, I tightened it a bit too much and broke the surplus string off. This wasn’t an issue since the remainder of the string held tight in the tuner; not sure if more expensive tuners would do the same when over tightened. (I’ve since learned that you shouldn’t and don’t need to tighten these down hard.)If you can, and want to spend more for Graphtech or Fender locking tuners, you potentially should, but these make an excellent alternative that don’t disappoint.Good value for money, hence five stars.

Look great and they work
Excellent value and a nice looking locking tuner... especially with the guyker script on the button. No problems at all installing although the securing screw is at a slightly different position from my old tuners so needed to make new holes. This might not apply to everyone. They are cheaper but (and this is my opinion only) just don't seem quite as good quality as Vanson tuners or Wilkinson ez.. (I personally also prefer the button style on those two alternatives.) However, a definite upgrade from the usual tuners found on the sort of guitars many of us can afford

fantastic locking tuners
I bought these locking tuners due to the reviews.I fitted them to my custom shop IYV tele and they are fantastic tuners..they are so precise on the tuning, i have now got a guitar that intonates 100%, they are so well made, that i have ordered another set for my JET JS-400...i have another 10 guitars that i will buy them for..including my ltd edition Fender strat, they are that good in my opinion..why should i pay the Fender locking tuner price when these will do the job at a fraction of the price..well recommended and really good quality 🤘

Stunning Tuners!
Just took the plunge on these Guykers and I’m totally sold on the quality. I have Gotoh’s on two other of my guitars and these stand with them on quality, finish and fit.I’d read the reviews about bushes not being a good fit, tight stems, so I pre-tested all of mine before fitting, they are all spot on.Save some money peeps 🙌🏼

Great value locking tuners
Can highly recommend these budget locking tuners. Pretty good gear ratio for stability. Saves a lot of time when re-stringing, and most importantly, they lock. Tight. Really happy with these.

Simple, easy to install and work very well.
I replaced my non locking tuners with the Guykers. This is also the first time I have used them. I did my research and saw some pretty good reviews.1. Price wise - excellent.2. Tuning stability- great, the locking mechanism works very well,.3. Smoothness and tuning sensitivity - really good. they are 18:1 ratio (nice) so super smooth and you are not cranking on them to tune. Also, super easy to install...5 minutes at most.

Decent tuner upgrade for my cheap guitar!
After fussing with sloppy tuners on my cheap Epiphone Les Paul Model E1 (Melody Maker), I decided to upgrade the tuners. After searching online, I decided upon these tuners due to many positive reviews and support of the manufacture. I received these tuners delivered as promised and installed them the moment they arrived. I had to increase the size of the mounting holes. I purchased a set of metric drill bits off of amazon and I used four bits successively to increase the holes. 8mm, 8.5mm, 9mm and finally 9.5mm. I then used a small dremel sanding drum attachment to just get the back side of the hole just right. I masked off both sides of the head to make sure I minimized any splintering and I took my time. I got a nice snug fit. I inserted them, lined them up properly and then inserted the tiny screw to hold them in place and then using a deep socket, I secured the pegs with the threaded inserts and washers. Turned out perfect. I put 6 of the old screws back into the left over holes from the old tuners so that I did not have unfinished little holes to deal with. It looks just fine that way and doesn't require any touch up at all. You really don't even notice the screws that are just hiding the holes. The tuners worked perfectly right out of the box. All turn nicely and are not too stiff or loose and the 18:1 turning ratio is great. The locking tuner part works well too. Do not over tighten them but rather just snug them up without a lot of force. The lock the strings well. Basically, if you pull the string through until it is mostly in place, lock it in and then tighten, you only need about 1/2 to 3/4 of a peg turn to get proper tuning. Snip the excess string wire accordingly. The quality does look decent!

Nickel !
