Easy to use ,easy to read .

Poor instructions

Does not keep acute for long

Bought for use with my coral reef aquarium and also to use while mixing feeds for plants, accuratley measure the PH and comes with additional buffering solutions to recalibrate.

When I received them, the pH meter didn’t work, on opening the battery compartment I found that the batteries had leaked inside, leaving a rusty mess.Because of the hassle of returning it I decided to try some fresh batteries and it did still work, there will obviously have been damage done but it’s just too much of a faff to return it.As the issue would have likely been caused by the units being stored with the batteries in for extended periods, the rest of the batch may well be the same, so I’d probably go to another seller when it does die.

Instructions are easy to follow and the provision of 3 calibration buffer solutions suggest that the instrument should be accurate.However, in use the readings seems to drift almost daily.Even ensuring a consistent measurement technique did not stabilise the readings.Does not agree with pH paper currently in use.Provides a simple easy to use guide to the pH of a solution, but the actual value is questionable

Tried to calibrate for an alkaline environment using the provided alkaline buffee solution and following the instructions exactly but the machine could only calibrate to pH 6.6
