I decided to update my guest bathroom … by myself, and on a shoestring budget. Having never painted a floor, I bought the Rust-Oleum kit. This couldn’t be easier. It had great coverage, and dried quickly, which made it easy to add additional coats. I liked the floor so much, I painted the vanity. I added three coats of the sealer to protect the finish on the floor and vanity. The quality is exceptional. The products had no foul smell. With new-found confidence from the guest bathroom, I decided to do the master bath, and am quite happy with the results.

Ok the product itself is fine.. keep in mind you can not step on this thing or it leave prints hair or shoe marks, the color even though it says pearl grey… it’s not, it gives off a blue tone I wasn’t a fan of the color… I really thought it would have been light grey. Just consider it

Product that arrived in cans with a metal lid (Lot #S11212) were impossible to mix. Clumped goo in the bottom of the can could not be blended with a stir stick, meaning you could not achieve the correct color to match other quart cans. This might have been the result of old paint or lack of temperature control during warehouse storage. Also, the bottoms of the can were bulging. Cans that arrived with the plastic lid were fine and mixed easily.

I love this product. I painted over a tan ceramic tile (that photo didn’t get uploaded) in my bathroom. After painting the Pearl Gray, it looked great even before adding the topcoat. People think I got a brand new floor! Highly recommend. Rust-Oleum makes superior products. .

Color was nice

Used 2 coats of the base color, one coat for the stencil, and 2 coats of the topcoat.
