Whats the difference between kuat nv2 and kuat sherpa?

The NV 2.0 can handle more weight (60 lb. per tray - Sherpa 2.0 is 40 lb. per tray). NV 2.0 with 2" hitch allows for 2-bike add-on. The NV 2.0 can also handle larger tire fat bikes (with adapter). The Sherpa 2.0 is a lighter weight rack.

Jeep jlu 2019- will I need an extender? One said yes. I see a picture of another but not sure if they used an extender?

I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport 2 Door and a2016 Lexus RX350 and I use it on both and do not need an extender for the Jeep. I have a trailer hitch made by U Haul and the hitch does exceed out from the Jeep more than the U haul Lexus hitch. You should not need an extender.

The ball bearing fill out of the hitch how do you reinsert ?

I had that same problem because I inserted it too far into the hitch initially and kept twisting. And just like you I was like “oh man... I just broke this.” The fix... hammer it back in. I used a rubber mallet to do this. Remember to unscrew the inside so the ball bearing has room to go in. You’ll have to knock it through but once back in it will work just fine. I had my panic moment too but just remember to unscrew it and make space and use a rubber mallet and you’ll be fine.

Why is the 2 inch $50 more. On the Kuat website there all $498

They are all made standard for 1", but have a shim to adapted to a 2" receiver. So they must be charging you $50 for the shim on here. By it wherever it is cheapest.
