My Ruger 380 fit with an area for my clip separately. Very compact and secure with 2 places a lock can be used. I got on YouTube for information on how to make the foam conform to the shape of my pistol and clip. It looks heavy, but is lighter to carry than expected, also even without locks on it is very well locked, but if you have children around locks should be used.

Hubby carried 2 .380's in this box on a recent trip to visit our son. Worked great.
