I have had this beautiful mantle clock for three years. Lovely tone and keeps perfect time. A family air loom for sure.

I really enjoy the 4 different chime picks the clock offers also the outer case is beautiful.

FALSE ADVERTISING! The clock is beautiful and looks great on the mantle in my bedroom. I like everything about it EXCEPT for the tick tock. IT IS NOT SILENT which was the main reason I bought it. It’s about 12 feet from my head and I still hear it ticking away while I try to go to sleep! C’mon! Be honest with your description!

We like the clock, but are disappointed that the chimes and strikes cannot be turned down enough. They are very loud even at the lowest setting, and the Westminster chime has off key tone. Well made, and looks like the picture online fairly easy to set. Directions could be better!

First - here is the trick to setting up the clock and synchronizing chimes to clock hands. There are two sets of battery packs one for the clock hands and one for the chimes. With no batteries in the either, set the clock hands to 5:10 (the clock and chimes mechanism will assess this setting to be 5:10 a.m.) then put the battery in the clock battery pack and wait until the second hand reaches 12. Take the battery back out of this pack to stop the hamd precisely at 12:00. Next put the second battery set into the chime battery pack. Remember the clock thinks it's 5:10 a.m. now. So, using the adjustment knob on the back of the clock set the time to your correct time by moving the clock hands forward. If your current time is in the p.m. hours you will have to move the hour hand around at least past 12 noon to let the mechanism know it is now in the p.m. time hours. Finally, put the battery back into the clock power pack and you're done. Review: I am enjoying the clock. My Grandmother had a clock that would chime in her house and it just brings back that little nostalgia for me. Aesthetically, from the front view, it looks good. From the back it's a little bit plasticky regarding the clock works cover and chimes mechanism so if that might bother you think about it. In conclusion I would buy it again. Hope this helps someone.

The whole clock is plastic, was broken when it arrived, wouldn't bother with buying this product at all.

Old world charm in a mantle clock. Purchased this to replace one that we had for many years and finally quit. Love the richness of the dark wood and the tone. Quiet from 10 pm - 6 am so that is a nice option and has options to choose from for chime, etc.

L horloge fonctionne bien. La fabrication est un peu legere. La finition est perfectible et aurait Eu besoin de bois un peu plus noble.
