NYOrtho Abdominal Binder Lower Waist Support Belt - Compression Wrap for Men and Women (45" - 60") 3 PANEL - 9"

I participated in a one hundred mile footrace in a city park in Tennessee over Labor Day weekend on a one mile loop in a city part all on asphalt. I knew it was going to be really hot and very humid. I experimented before the race in similar weather conditions with placing ice bags inside the front of my shirt. I realized I needed a binder to hold them firmly against my skin to get really substantial cooling. So I bought several sized binders from NYOrtho. THEY ARE ALL VERY HIGH QUALITY. I wasn't sure how long a binder I would need. It turns out this 45-60" long one did the trick and worked perfectly. Having two large bags full of ice against my abdomen made a huge difference in my ability to compete in the afternoon day sun. Again, the binder is very high quality and used post-operatively or for a ventral hernia it would be very useful. My use was just a bit different.

Great quality and price. Effective for abdominal weakness and small umbilical hernia. I bought an oversize that allows frontal overlapping, with 3 pannels. I can fold the lower pannel for extra firmness, if wanted. I used over a TShirt, , but it is more efficient over the skin. It has helped my bloating, no more morning body aches, goodbye foot cramps. I ordered 3 extras for switching.

I love it! I have tried many lumbar belts but this one suits me best. Since it lays flat under clothes its almost impossible to detect.It gives me great support for my back issues, it is not a cure-all but it gives me support. Its also so much easier to adjust how tight I want to wear it. As amatter of fact I like it so much that I ordered a 2nd one, so that I always have a spare.

Post Abdominal surgery hip to hip incision, needed support to hold in the abdominal muscle for support while stitches work. This was u comfortsbel for me, 5'2" because it is 9 inches wide sonit either sat under my breast to belly, or, pulled down to fit over belly and hips. But it slid up. I did however sleep well in it. Bettee for a person with longer torso. And itchy. Not smooth inside. So wear over a camisole orshirt if possible to help with itch.

I broke my ribs and purchased this to help with the pain and to help support the area. I have broke many ribs over the years and I have used similar products in the past and this one was just as good, if not better than the ones that I purchased in the past plus it was at such a better price. When you break or even bruise your ribs it’s hard just to breathe. There’s nothing that’s going to make the pain stop but this makes it much easier. I highly recommended getting one to have on hand because in reality we never know what might happen when? You won’t regret having this as part of your first aid kit.

This support garment is difficult to put on. The Velcro sticks everywhere while trying to put on. I only wore it twice & then put it aside. I bought one of the slenderizing/support undergarments, which has worked well to give support for my little hernia until I have surgery sometime after covid, if covid doesn't kill me first. As for the support belt, it worked well, has good support, did not roll or creep up or down. It is just too hard for me to line the Velcro up with the other side without sticking in all the wrong places. My bad...not the support belt. If I could design one for myself, it would have hooks & no Velcro.

I have had back issues since my late 20x. Hot and cold packs helped, but I would have to miss a few days of work until the pain became bearable. I found a stretch exercise belt in my 30s. Wearing it kept a constant pressure on my back muscles and alleviated about 90% of the pain. I have never missed another day from work since then. My old belt was beginning to get a bit ratty. The NYOrtho Support Belt is fantastic. I ordered my replacement to match my original as closely as possible. It's perfect. In fact it gives me better support, a firmer fit, but I still have complete movement, and fewer muscle twinges. I have added inches to my waist over 30+ years which made it much more difficult to find a new belt . . . that is no longer a problem. I still have a few bigger sizes I can order . . . if needed. I really am satisfied with my purchase and recommend this belt for anyone with back problems.

Seems to be working great after my colostomy reversal surgery. I recommend getting a larger size binder than needed. I'm about 40 in around and the 46 to 62 in binder works great
