Really liked!
Three high school sisters- triplets- just coming into their own in the magic world. They use their magic in small frivolous ways because they've never needed it for anything big. Their 'fun' game every year is to put a puppy love spell on some poor unsuspecting boy in school and make their own competition of it. Only this time they've picked the wrong boy...There's always been a cheeky rivalry between the sisters but things take a seriously wrong turn.Think 'Witches of Eastwick' or 'Charmed' high school style. This was a fun read even though the material itself is increasingly suspenseful. I really liked it!

Teen first love with a dangerous twist
Magic and teenage high school drama combine to form an intriguing adventure, where jealousy is almost as dangerous as love itself.Kristen is one of three sisters, all of which are witches. Each year during high school, they have played a magical game, where each has enchanted a boy to crush on them. So far, Kristen has never been defeated. Now, in their Senior year, especially one of her sisters has sworn to make this change. When Kristen accidentally crushes on the wrong guy, more than the sister's silly game is at stake. This story sets off into full motion right away and doesn't stop until the very end. The high school scene is well done, portraying the girls and their friends with normal teenage worries and problems. The dialogue is very natural and wonderfully snappy at times. The three girls aren't the most loving siblings, but rather a very tense rivalry exists between them. But the bonds of sisters is a great thing in these pages. Even when the girls get pretty nasty with each other, they still have each others backs. The tension grows steadily, leading into an ever deepening and dangerous situation. Although some moments and twists are predictable, the layers of secrets are well laid, making it hard to put this book down. Especially Kristen starts out a little rough, but it doesn't take long before she's a true heroine to sympathize with and root for until the end. And her hero, Zach, is a gentleman pure. They have decisions to make, ones that aren't easy, and all the while, they have more than themselves at heart. It's a world to fall into and feel at home in. The descriptions are kept to a minimum, leaving the exciting plot on center stage. Magic is kept fairly calm outside of a few exciting battles. A couple of the characters could have used a little more depth, but Kristen and Zach pull through, capturing and holding the attention as they should. The ending comes with many emotional moments, ones that make true heroes and heroines. The final result wasn't quite my thing and chopped off quicker, making me wish there was more of these two to come.

I have been CRUSHED!
Triplets Kristen, Brittany and Cyndi have created a game which they play together each year. The game is called crushed. With a love potion that each witch creates they crush a boy. At the end of the year the witch who has developed the most powerful crush wins the game. The rules are simple, but this year Kristen, the winner of the game the last few years, crushes the wrong boy. She crushes Zack. The town's bad boy. What she doesn't know is that Zack is a very powerful warlock who is not touched by her potion. Zack has a secret of his own and he cannot afford this to come out. So he plays along, at least that is what he keeps telling himself...Zack can't hide his feelings any longer and he has no choice but to give up his secret to Kristen, because for him there is no life without her. When the stakes are higher than ever and the sisters turn on each other they all have a choice to make. Will they choose magic or love? After reading the first sentence of the blurb I knew I had to read this book. It said The Craft meets Pretty Little Liars. I have seen The Craft thousands of times and I am still watching Pretty Little Liars. This story delivers everything as promised.Kasi Blake knows how to create a good story. The characters are strong and are very easy to relate to. Also, the surroundings are a perfect choice. I could easily visualize the places she describes. I always love it when a writer can do that for me. I loved this fast-paced story with all of its twists and the old, but oh so good, battle between the dark and the light.

magical and sweet
This book was definitely for young adults, and despite being far past those years I quite enjoyed it. It was fun, flirty, a little bad boy and good girl thing going on. But with magic and a surprise villain thrown in for good measure. Light and dark, good and evil, and a romance worth changing for. Zach and Kristen are an adorable couple and to be honest I loved them together. From their bickering in the beginning to a happily ever after they compliment one another. I would love to read something about their future, what Kristen and Noah do with their lives, if they have children and if they are magical as well. I liked the sisterly bond and how their love for one another gave them the strength to fight their worst fears and face life head-on. I liked how it touched on judging a person by their appearance and how things are not always as they appear. Sometimes a dream is supposed to come true. A very good read.

Great book!
This book was a page turner that had you 2nd guessing what was going to happen and to who. Loved the characters and the plot. There were so many twists that you didn't know what was coming next. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to read about witches, mystery, and a bit of romance.

I bounced off when I hated the putative protagonist
Not aimed at me clearly, I bounced off when I hated the putative protagonist. Maybe I'm just too old.

Predictable, but still a great read!
What suprised me was that I actually liked this book, believe it or not I finished it in one sitting. What let it down was that the story was quite predictable. You knew that they were going to fall in love, and who the bad guy was going to be, so 0 points for originality but it was still a good read! The book is about 3 sisters who are witches, they play a game called 'crushed' every year, and this year the protagonist decides to 'crush' this one boy who is hot and broody. Zach is supposed fall head over heels for Kristen, and follow her around like a love-sick puppy because she crushed him but this doesn't happen. Instead, he disobeys her orders and constantly looks at her with contempt. Zack and Kristen then get to know each other and we follow their relationship's many ups and downs. Overall I really did enjoy this book and would definitely recommend it.If you like a book which contains witchcraft and romance then this is for you!NOTE - I'd say this book is aimed at people in their early teens rather than YA.

Crushed that was me 😕
Has Crushed been out before? As I read one a while ago that is about 98% the same, ending similar but the sister died elsewhere. If the book ending has changed to make the book a shorter story its good but I preferred the first one, I'm sorry but I can't remember the book title as it was years ago that I read it. But I still gave it three stars
