Great jars for homemade beauty products
I bought these to store my homemade body butter and face moisturizer in. They are nice looking, sturdy jars and the lids seal well. These are nice enough that you can use them as a gift with your DYI products. I would recommend these and will purchase them again. Here is my body butter recipe if anyone is interested. I'm including links to the products I used.1/2 cup shea butter1/4 cup raw, unrefined coconut oil Carrington Farms Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, 54 Ounce1/4 cup sweet almond oil (or another oil of your choice) NOW solutions Sweet Almond Oil, Moisturizing Oil, 16 ounce10-15 drops essential oil of your choice if you want it scented (I used lemon) Now Foods Lemon Oil, 1 OunceMake sure all your utensils and containers are clean and sanitized. I wash mine in hot, soapy water, rinse and then spray with 91% rubbing alcohol and let them air dry or dry with a paper towel if you're in a hurry.Melt the shea, coconut and almond oil in a double boiler over low heat or in a glass bowl in the microwave on 50% power.Stir occasionally to combine.Set bowl in the fridge or freezer until the edges (at least 1 inch or so around) have solidified. If it is mostly solidified, that's ok as long as you can still easily stick your finger in it. Make sure it isn't too runny or it won't whip up.Add your essential oil if you're using any.Whip with a hand mixer or in a kitchen aid for 3-4 minutes until it is a whipped cream like consistency.Scrape into clean, sanitized jars and store at room temperature out of direct sunlight. The finished product made approximately 12 oz. and this should have a shelf life of at least 3-6 months.Hope this helps :)

FABULOUS JARS
Absolutely great! Great quality, color, size - the cap is a well made white metal and it has a seal on the inside of the cap - these are so well made - the price is crazy low. They look so professional - I added a label (Kraft Look by Rivertree Life) which I bought on Amazon and they looked great - I will definitely be back to buy many more - very happy with my purchase!

Quality jars for a good price
These little jars are the perfect size for my homemade body butter. The cobalt color is great for keeping out sunlight and reminds me of my mom’s old Noxema jars! The glass is good quality and the lids screw on nicely. Will definitely purchase again.

Pretty and Practical
I needed some small jars to store herbs and spices that I buy or blend in small amounts of because I use them only occasionally. These pretty blue jars were perfect for this use. They close tightly and the cobalt color protects the contents from light exposure.

Great presentation
These jars are ideal for the creams and ointments that I make. Water will not leak out, so I know my products will be fine. The size is perfect and they make a lovely presentation. The only negative is that they are made in China but it is difficult to find products like this that are made in the U.S.

They were just what i needed!
I bought these to use for our Homemade Lavender Dandelion Salve and they were perfect. A 1 x 2.58 Avery label fits great around the outside of the jar. The caps are sturdy and fit well. I will definitely order more when my supply runs low.Thank you,Larksdesignhouse.com

pretty jars
I love these little jars for gifting my signature skin cream. They're a great size to say "I'm thinking of you." One thing I'd like to see is a black plastic lid. The white lid just isn't as classy.
