Serpentes Mamba 50-Feet Expandable Garden Hose, Green

Used maybe 6 times. This is a very delicate product and I don't need anything delicate outside in the Texas elements. I found that... 1. You cannot have the water on and turn the sprayer nozzle turned off - the minor pressure build up causes the delicate hose to bulge. 2. You cannot have your water on full blast to spray far - causes the delicate hose to bulge. I only wanted this for watering plants on the back patio and along the back of the house. Because it's such a hassle to handle a heavy hose all the time, I thought this would be perfect/super lightweight and I would water more to keep stuff from dying. But those few times I used this like a regular outdoor hose damaged it. Under the orange fabric is a CLEAR, CHEAP, RUBBER/PLASTIC hose.The only way I can see this lasting is if you turn your water on half power and NEVER turn the water off at the nozzle, turn it off altogether, treat it very delicately. It has now become part of the landscape as a decorative item (insert sarcasm).

This is an outstanding hose. Although I did not measure it, I believe it is 75 feet when in use. I am a petite woman and had no trouble moving the hose once it was filled with water. It retracted quite well. I have always used a "Fireman's" nozzle from Home Depot, however this hose came with an excellent selectable garden nozzle. It rotates through the following selections: full, angle, shower, mist, center, flat, cone, & soaker. It also has a small clip to keep the nozzle in the ON position. The hose came with the shut off lever already in the ON position. However, the lever has an arrow that indicates to move the lever to turn it on. At first, this was a bit confusing. Just realize that the lever has to be in line with the hose for the water to flow. The lever is very easy to operate. I took pictures of the internal crimping to show the quality. I keep this hose out of sunlight and make sure that it is not bent at the nozzle when it is stored. You won't go wrong with this purchase.

I really can't critique this hose as it did not come with a workable gasket on the female fitting... leaks badly at faucet connection. I've tried to insert the hose gaskets I've on hand, but they are too robust. Seems to me when you purchase a product... you shouldn't have to make a special trip to the hardware store to search for a solution to make it work before placing into service. The only reason I give it two stars instead of one... it expands, shrinks as advertised.

Got the product in July and it has a set of pin leaks in it already! The hose is on my deck and is only used 2 times per week. Not happy that it is leaking in a month's time. Since it is over 30 days old, I can't return or replace it.

GARBAGE! I bought the 75ft hose. The black cloth of the hose ripped and the blue inner tube exploded the second time I was using it. The "pop" practically sounded like a gunshot and scare the heck out of my 2 year old who was nearby playing. So disappointed as I spent a lot of time researching the product and reading reviews. Seems like most reviews are from people who received the product free as a result of their "honest" review. Feeling like I can't trust a lot of these Amazon reviews anymore.

I purchased a hose about 2 months ago. I used it a few times over that period. When I last used the hose, water shot from the side of it. I purchased the product from SIXMO, who quickly offered a replacement.Like the first time, I used the latest hose a few times. Then, the last time I used the replacement, the hose sheathing split open and the thin inner lining exploded and soaked me with water.I am not interested in trying any more. I definitely do not recommend this product.

It busted after 30 days ,Distributor did issue a replacement, I will wait to see how the replacement holds up,well I waited till I returned from a two week vacation and the second one lasted only thirty days exactly when it too busted, I took apart the first one sent to me and I found theinner liner to be very weak and thin in spots.This to me is a very poor quality product I will not waste my time or money on another hose of this poor quality and neither should you.

I couldn't be more unhappy in that having the hose for less than 5 days, the outer black covering, suddenly ripped open exposing the inner hose which blew up like a balloon rendering the entire hose useless! It only saw use in my driveway and on my lawn, so obviously there wasn't much to snag it. The outer black covering is nowhere near as strong as they advertise. I'll definitely be having words with Amazon.
