I was a skeptic
I'll admit, I'm usually anti "homeopathic." I think it's a scam. I heard about this product in a Facebook group. People used it on their animals like chickens when the would get infections in their feet (bumblefoot). Every one swore by it. I read the reviews here and majority of people liked it so I gave it a try (it helps that it was inexpensive). I'm a believer now! I haven't used it on any chickens, yet, but I have used it for in-grown hairs and cystic acne and it's great. I haven't had the same experience as some reviewers with a fountain of pus but it will reduce the swelling and/or get rid of the bump completely in 1-2 days. It does have a slight weird smell and it's super sticky but it's not awful.

but definitely helped a great deal). What they didn't do was to get ...
Although I wouldn't say I suffer from severe acne, it has been visible enough and bothersome enough for me to go to a dermatologist throughout most of my 20's. About a year ago I stopped going to the dermatologist because I was uninsured and also was tired of having to slather my face in prescriptions. Little by little, my acne started to creep up on my face again. I refused to go back to the dermatologist, so decided to give the Clarisonic a try, along with some Mario Badescu products. These have been a lifesaver in preventing breakouts (not completely, but definitely helped a great deal). What they didn't do was to get rid of my under the skin (blind) acne that I already had (and I didn't expect them to either). I was just waiting it out, hoping they would come to a head soon so I could extract them. Yeah right! A couple did. Many others did not. It's been a journey over the last few months to get rid of them, as they seem to just stay there, hibernating under my skin for what seems like forever! Anyway, I finally got rid of this one on my right cheek after more than 6 months of a battle. Then I noticed I had one on my left cheek. It was easy to cover up with makeup, but without makeup, it had a dark brown color and I could notice it created a bump under my skin. No amount of hot compresses, prodding, coaxing, or anything else would get it out. It kept becoming darker and darker and when I ran my finger over it, I could feel that the problem bump was deep under the skin. It felt like it was ready to come out, but couldn't because it was so deep and stubborn. I wouldn't have cared if it didn't discolor the area of my skin so much. I looked up online for some solutions and read about Prid. I was skeptical. Aren't most acne prone people skeptical about most products? I ordered it on Amazon because I couldn't find it in my local Duane Reade. However, I was at the end of my patience even though I knew Amazon would deliver quickly. The same day I ordered it, I drove to Walgreens and found it (I scoured the beauty aisle forever and ended up finding it in the medicinal area instead). I was shocked at how small the package is (and it's much cheaper in Walgreens), picked it up, and brought it home. I put it on quickly during the day as I had nowhere to go and was desperate to get rid of this brown bump. Nothing. Absolutely nothing happened. I was disheartened and told myself, of course nothing will happen right away. This will probably take several days of faithfully applying this. I went to sleep last night and put the Prid on that problem area, along with a few other spots that I felt could become problematic in the future. I woke up about an hour ago and washed my face clean. This stuff is incredibly sticky and I had to gently exfoliate it off with a wash cloth. I noticed as the brown goop was washing away that there was what appeared to be a white head in the place of the brown bump. I was ecstatic and gently extracted the gunk. I couldn't believe that after one night, I was rid of this monstrous thing that had been there for months! I still can't believe it. Is it a miracle product? I don't know. I can't say based on only one day's usage. However, it has been miraculous for that one problem I had. I will use it for future occurrences similar and hope it repeats its magic, although I'm hoping with my Clarisonic and Mario Badescu products keep those at bay (as they mostly have been). As for the smell that others have been complaining about. Yes, it smells terrible, but suck it up. In my opinion, it's worth it.

Stinky, but very effective & offers pain relief!
One of the best herbal therapies I've used. I have Baker's cysts on the back of both knees. The ortho surgeon wanted an MRI even after 3 other docs diagnosed the issue. I didn't need an MRI, I needed these cysts to be drained. He refused to do that without the MRI. As I limped out of his office, I called my acupuncturist, had a great treatment & a recommendation for Prid. It's been 3 weeks, Prid applied once daily, the cyst sacs have softened up & now I'm just waiting for them to drain naturally. Fair warning, Prid smells like tar during application, but seems to abate after it sinks into your skin. If it breaks the cyst sacs, I don't care what it smells like. It gave me immediate relief from the constant cramping in the back of my knees. Just waiting for the end result. My acupuncturist says it will work - I just need to be a bit patient.

Bumble foot care
I got this to use for my ducks bumble foot. It came highly recommended from other duck and chicken owners. I smudge a bit of this one and it helps cure the infection spot a lot faster. Use this with pet anti infection spray and you’re good to go. The two pack is amazing cause you can have one for the pets and the other for yourself.

Works well, somewhat messy.
I bought this product because I heard that it worked well to draw pimples to a head for removal. It does work as long as the pimple is not too deep. My experience is that it does not work well for cystic acne, but does for hormone breakouts. I have used it to draw splinters out and it works overnight. It smells like leather or tobacco, but using it overnight the smell does not really matter. Can be messy, but I put a dab on a cover with a bandage. It is a nice product to have around for the unexpected times when you need it.
