I'm a pet sitter. I walk dogs all the time. When walking 2 at a time, tne dogs all have a tendency to switch places and run ahead of each other and every time they do, the leashes get tangled. Anyone who walks 2 diogs at once knows it's annoying. But this duel dog leash solves all those issues and makes 2 dog walking easier for both me and the dogs. It never tangles when the woofs move around and it stretches about 2 feet in either direction so dogs can still pull a bit.It has made my life easier and I am so happy I took the chance on it.

This leash is awesome! I have a 40 lb sheltie, and a 30 lb sheltie, and it use to be such a headache to walk them together, with two separate leashes. It got to the point that I would have to take them out individually, because it was just such a hassle. I finally came across this coupler, and decided I would give it a go. After trying it out a couple of times, I am so happy with this purchase. The dogs and I are no longer tangled up, and I don't have to stop every 2 minutes to untangle someone. I also purchased a hands-free leash to go with this, and with both items together, our walks are super enjoyable!

THIS IS AMAZING! I have two dogs and kids who promise to walk the dogs, but never do. I am busy and walking both dogs separately can be time consuming on busy nights. I've tried using two leashes and they constantly tangle with each other and the baby stroller. This coupler is stretchy so it provides more room but doesn't get knotted our bunched up when the dogs get too close or try to criss cross one another. It's also nice that if they do cross over the others leash, they really can easily self adjust making my walks relaxing again! I highly recommend this product to anyone walking two dogs at once! Plus it's fun so my kids wanted to do it. That part may not last, but at least I know I can give them both the exercise they need! I just can't say enough good things about this!

I've used this coupler to take my two large lab-mix dogs on hikes. The bungees are great so that the dogs don't get excited and pull each other (or me) with a quick movement. It only took my dogs about three minutes to figure out how to walk together with the coupler. I have an 80 pound and 40 pound dog. Naturally, one dog can sort of pull around the other a bit, but the product itself works well when they are walking well. The bungee cord nature is where it's at. They have some give where they can each smell what they want and get some leeway.

For so long I walked my dogs with two separate leashes only to get tangled up and have them trip over the leashes or get stuck. It was so frustrating to have to turn in circles or step out of knots in the middle of the sidewalk while walking my dogs. I didn't know this leash separator existed until I saw a woman effortlessly walking her two beagles at the library and knew I had to get one of these. I just walked my dogs today with this and I was the BEST. WALK. EVER. No tangles. No tripping. No dogs getting stuck and falling on their own leashes. And better yet, they walked side by side, no fuss, no problem. It was effortless. One of my dogs is a very much in front, always going walker, and the other is a bit slower and relaxed. So this helped them both keep pace without one being yanked by the other dog. The stretchiness of the bands help with this two. The extender is also short enough that my taller dog isn't constantly getting the leash under him and getting all tangled. And I'm not doing untangling circle dances on the sidewalk anymore. I can actually enjoy my walks now. I seriously recommend this to anyone with two dogs.

Both the small dogs did pretty good with this. Although they are both still learning to walk the one didn't enjoy walking as much but the leash works great stretches and strong but not to heavy!Not sure if I would trust it for heavy bigger dogs. Unless they are very good on a leash!

This thing sucks in my opinion. It stretches and therefore you have to pull extra long and hard to correct your dogs or use a very short lead. My dogs walk fairly well but they are sniffers and I have to gather a bunch of leash in my hands to pull therm away. We also had an aggressive dog rush at them and I could not easily get enough pull to get them away fast enough. The one thing it did do and why I gave it 2 stars was it makes my two dogs walk very nicely together and we saw bad habits from each go away as a result. However, my dogs are 30-40lbs each and when the one did his #2 it was hard to get them both away to pick it up. This is the way the product worked for me, your results may differ greatly
