I was looking for an electric fireplace that would fit into a smaller space and yet still be tall enough to fit the space and not appear too short. It goes over a tad bit of our trim but it still fits our space. There is a light that lights up the bricks inside. You can adjust the realistic flames and the realistic logs. Our room is A 20 x 20 room with no heat or AC and tiled floors. I can put this on 62° and it actually warms the room up very quickly and it stays warm. When I read the reviews it sounded like people could put it together in an hour to an hour and a half. Because of the way it goes together it was not familiar to us. I do think that IKEA and some of those places sell items put things together like this. Once we figured out how to use the dowels and how it worked ,it did take us two hours. That was my husband and myself putting it together. Overall, I think it was easy to put together but not quite as easy as some had stated. I really do love this fireplace I wanted to get something under $400. You can even have it going with no heat . It really does look very real. Someone had mentioned that the ivory color is Ivory and don't expect white. I agree with that. However I was fine mixing the ivory with my white trim. I think it looks fine for me and my setting. I would highly recommend this fireplace. It arrives in two boxes.

I love my fireplace! It is beautiful. I was very skeptical on getting a fake fireplace. I initially thought it would look cheesy, especially after I read a couple of negative nancy reviews. If this is what you are thinking about getting, you won't be disappointed. Mine is on 24/7 and I have had it for a couple of months now. The flames are lovely. Now it is not 100% realistic, but it by any means doesn't look ridiculously fake. I really like it. You can adjust the intensity of the flames and the logs. There is also a light. The heating function works okay for me. I have it in a really large bedroom. My husband who hates heat in the house says he can feel it, but I really don't feel it unless I'm sitting next to it which is why I got it. It should heat a smaller bedroom fairly quickly, but in a larger bedroom you might not feel the heat off of it. I assembled this by myself. It took me about 2 hours and I'm a girl, so it can be done. Instructions were pretty clear and once you get a piece or so together you will get the hang of it. My kids and dog love it. Well worth the money spent!

I have purchased 4 of these for rental properties, in 2019 and 2022 and no issues with any of them! They put out good heat and look nice!

Well made of sturdy materials. Easy to put together. Insert looks realistic and adds warmth to the room. The only problem I have is the remote does not work I changed the battery and it worked off and on for a few weeks but then quit working all together changed the battery again and it still doe not work, it's just inconvenient to have to go to the fireplace to adjust to temp or flame, etc.

I moved into a highrise condo and hated not having a fireplace. After tons of research I decided to go with this fireplace and I'm so glad I did! I was nervous because I had looked at so many online and in person and they all looked SO fake. This one exceeded my expectation!! Easy to put together. Great quality. Heats the room incredibly well. I especially can't get over how real the flames look. It adds such a cozy touch to my "decorating in progress" living room! Once I get the room finished I will post pictures! I'm a happy customer!

Bought this for my daughter who lives in a studio apartment. You do need to assemble but it was pretty simple to do. My daughter loves the look and function.

Really nice quality finish. Assembly took 30 minutes. All pieces were made well and fit together perfectly. The fire box log unfortunately had a crack. I notified the company and they took care of it immediately. I love companies like this one that are prompt and give great service. I would highly recommend them. Final note: The flame effect is quite good and there is even a down effect mood light that can be switched on and off separately that dimly frames the outside front of the firebox giving it an almost 3-D light effect which is really nice. All in all... Great product! Great company!

I bought this strictly for the aesthetic and flame effect, since I don’t need extra heat. The mantel and surround is beautiful and fairly easy to get together. The logs and fire effect also beautiful and quite realistic looking. BUT, the heater I believe is faulty and possibly dangerous. When I use the manual power button on the front of the unit to turn it on for just the flame, there doesn’t seem to be a problem. The heater doesn’t come on, maybe because I avoid pressing that button manually. However, when I used the remote control, the heater came on and was set to the highest temp, 82. I used the remote to turn the thermostat down to 62 and the heater turned back off BUT a few minutes later it came back on, was back up to 82, and had started beeping until I unplugged it. It felt and smelled like it was overheating. Some online research and the BBB website shows heater problems are VERY common on this model from this company. So I don’t want a replacement unit from them, I’ll try to find a reputable one from another company. No way am I trying to pack it up to return. So I basically paid $400 for the wood cabinet and will need to pay maybe the same for a safe replacement log unit. Definitely do some research on this one before committing to buy.
