These are the best scissors for a very low price. I have many scissors and these are my go to for everything. Also, the fun snips that came with them are just as good. Very, very good construction and price.

I bought these scissors to cut denim, not wanting to ruin my good ones. They exceeded my expectations! I cut up 38 pairs of jeans and they are still just as sharp as when I started. Very comfortable on my hands and glide through the denim with no effort! Would highly recommend them!

So the first thing I have to say is this… the scissors come slightly oiled. They have to be because they are carbon steel. To ship them without the oil would be a huge mistake. That said, I am a hairstylist and I bought these for my wife who is a sewer. As a gift! In my professional hair stylist opinion, these sewing scissors are extremely nice and sharp. They are super balanced and glide quite nice when actuating them. I bought the 9” set as I thought the 8” would’ve limited my wife a bit when making long cuts. The packaging is nice. The smaller snip/string cutters are a very nice addition to the scissors. They WILL DEFINITELY do the job. Don’t get your finger’s in the way. They are super sharp and move together very nicely.All in all this is a nice set and my wife loves them. And THAT is all that matters.

These are the strongest scissors I have ever purchased. They cut like butter and so sturdy. I use them for everything even though they are made for fabric use.

Quality scissors. Use for work in fashion and these are my go to scissors. I tell my students to buy these.

Being made in China, the blade geometry (shape) is quite different to what I am used to. However that made no difference to the fact that they work very well. I have used professional shears up to 14" in length. These are just a little too short and light for me. 12" ones would be ideal for me personally. The difference between scissors and professional shears is important when you are cutting through several layers of fabric, such as cutting out 8 layers when making several garments at once. Scissors are lighter and shorter than these, so you have to apply some force on the handles to cut through the fabric. If you are making just one item for yourself then you might prefer something lighter, like the Graf ones. But if you are seriously in to sewing, then I do recommend these highly. The difference is that the extra weight does most of the cutting for you - You do not have to squeeze very much at all. So you can cut out a lot of fabric without hand cramping and fatigue.They are high carbon steel, which if tool steel grade, will keep their edge much longer than stainless steel ones can. I've used mine heavily and I have still not needed to sharpen them yet. They are more prone though to rusting, so an occasional quick wipe over with a rag and sewing machine oil will protect them.

As a long time home sewer and crafter, a really good pair of sharp, smooth cutting scissors is an essential tool. I used to get very upset with other family members, in the past, who would 'borrow' my best shears for other types of cutting needs. The scissors would magically reappear in my sewing room dulled and sometimes with nicked blades. GRRRR! I'm elderly now and living solo...so who is it, now, that 'borrows' and dulls and nicks them, huh? Gremlins, no doubt. It was high time to start over with a good quality pair of scissors and this choice proved to be a really good one!They're comfortable in my arthritic hands, smooth and easy while cutting and...did I say SHARP! I made an initial cut into a vinyl upholstery fabric and just pushed the partially open blades the whole length of the needed cut. They glided the whole way like slicing through butter. The protective sleeve is a nice bonus when storing them after use. Maybe it will discourage those gremlins, too.

The media could not be loaded. These scissors arrived on time and were well packed. On opening the box the scissors and thread snips were nesting together. The blades of both the scissors and the snips have a light covering of protective oil on them, so prior to use, be sure to use a soft, dry cloth to gently remove the coating. The snips are very sharp and work easily. The scissors are extremely sharp and cut beautifully!! They are very comfortable in my hand. Always keep them in their protective sheath as they can easily cut through skin! Store them away from little ones to prevent any accidental injury!! I would not hesitate to recommend them for either sewing or crafting. I personally use them strictly for cutting fabric out. They are an excellent product at an excellent price:) Highly recommend!!!
