I purchased this for my granddaughter for Christmas. It was shipped in a timely fashion and I sent it to my granddaughter.She is reporting that she loves her project, a small rug. She is an artistic girl and I thought she would enjoy being creative.To my delight, she said she was enjoying it and found it relaxing.Well, I am thrilled. I wanted something to occupy her and this is it.Great results, will be purchasing another one.

Got this as a Christmas gift. It my great aunt loved it.

I got the dog rug to make for my grandparents for Christmas. Kudos to them for being able to send things out so quickly! The pattern can be a bit tricky to follow at times especially as a beginner. Having the pattern printed on the canvas is great. HOWEVER it gets real confusing since the printed pattern on the canvas has some wonky and weird colors (to make it more bright and visible I think?). Basically what that means is sometimes I’m working and accidentally put the wrong thread since I was half paying attention and matched the wrong greens or whatever… I was making this in a hurry however I wasn’t rushing it if that makes any sense. This project took me at least 16+ hours to complete. They liked it and the finished product but boy was it quite the project lol.

I think it’s cute but it smelled like fish when I opened it!!! So gross!!! Have to let it air out outside!!! Not sure why it smelled this way!!! Gross!

I received the kit and thought it was great! Not true!! Yarn are different lengths and thickness. Canvass is to light to see the outline clearly, and the instruction paper does not follow the outline. The instructions seem to know this is a problem as it says "when there is difference, follow the colors on the canvas!" ...already stated the outline an colors on the canvass are too light. In addition, I have hooked rugs before so I knew how. but a beginner would never be able to learn to do it from the "picture" on the instructions. I asked a kid to try...and she gave up! Hopefuly, at least the yellow flower will look like a flower. (Also the yarn marked "P" could either be a "P" or a "d". Very confusing labeling A waste of money.
